Rostock Delta Mk3 Round Heated Bed

The Rostock Delta MK3 Round Heated Bed is a round heated build platform for 3D Printing, designed to be used with delta style printers like the Anycubic Kossel Delta range. It is built to handle temperatures of up to 110°C over extended periods and features an aesthetically stylish red and white silkscreen print that displays the safety warning, voltage and model number. It also comes with six mounting points to ensure that it fits firmly for optimal bed levelling.

This heatbed is considered an upgrade for Delta-style printers that don’t already have a heated bed, and allows for printing with filaments that need heated build platforms. This includes standard ABS Filaments, as well as Nylon, Polycarbonate and many other filaments that typically don’t stick well to cool surfaces. This opens up so many more possibilities for printing, and even has the ability to improve first layer adhesion on filaments that don’t need a heated bed. This makes it an excellent upgrade for Delta-style printers, and a valuable investment if you love 3D printing or are eager to begin experimenting with unique or Exotic 3D Filaments.

The Rostock Delta MK3 Round Heated Bed is stocked primarily for our Kossel Delta 3D Printers, but can be used on any delta-style printer with similar build volumes. It features 6 mounting points for installing the heatbed firm and snug, and is made from aluminium to encourage effective heat transfer. And while this heatbed is intended to be used for 3D printers, some customers have been adventurous and have taken these heatbeds to make unique coffee and plate warmers. So don’t underestimate the many different use cases of these heatbeds, as they can essentially be used for almost any kind of heating application up to around 110°C.

As a final note, we would feel bad if we didn’t warn you about the extreme temperatures that this heatbed can achieve, and that it will maintain high heat even after the LED status light has gone off. So please do be careful and always put your hand close to feel for any residual heat before simply grabbing the plate.
