Music is quite an astonishing thing, and is something that every culture in the entire world has developed over time, allowing us to share experiences, tell stories and entertain each other with rhymes, patterns and abstract translations of emotions. This is why, as Makers, we feel that Audio Modules like the MH-M38 Bluetooth 4.2 Audio Receiver Module are vital, as these allow us to create our very own custom audio players and audio-based projects, letting us enjoy music in more ways, share it with friends, and enhance the ambience of almost any environment you can think of.

This MH-M38 Audio Receiver Module is a fantastic module designed to make your audio projects as easy and simple as possible, offering dual 5W Amplifiers for dual outputs for speakers ranging between 2Ω to 8Ω and Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless transmission of up to 15m in open air. This means that you can finally make your own custom Bluetooth speaker projects, but without having to break the bank just to get the right audio module for the job, letting you take your music with you, install a dedicated sound station, or utilise audio in many other cool ways like home automation, navigation systems and more. Additionally, just to make your life as a Maker even easier, this module also features versatile power input ports, with ports that are compatible with 3.7V Lithium Batteries, as well as a common Micro USB port for a constant 5V supply. So if you’ve always wanted to build your own custom audio players, Bluetooth speaker boxes, or any other audio projects for entertainment or functionality, this inexpensive but awesome module is the perfect module for the job.

Please Note: This module is designed to be as affordable as possible, and as such does not feature onboard lithium battery protection. As such, it’s a good idea to utilise a LiPo Charger Board between the batteries and the input to avoid potential problems.

Extra Note: This module features dual 5W power amplifier circuits, and as such it’s important to remember that you must not connect this board to a secondary amplifier, as this can easily damage the sensitive board. Furthermore, it's also important to ensure that you never connect the negative terminals from both amplifiers together, as this can blow the onboard chips.
