Everybody loves music, whether it’s classical, rock, hip hop or any other kind, as music helps us in a variety of different ways from simple entertainment to networking as well as for setting the mood and providing some inspiration when you might need it most. This is why Bluetooth audio players are popular, since these let us not only take our music out into the world, but actually share it with others and enjoy it with the people we care about, and it’s also why we love Audio Modules like these Bluetooth 4.0 Audio Receivers with USB Input, SD Card Capabilities & even support for IR interfacing too.

Although this module offers a lot of functionality, it is actually quite simple, and this helps keep the cost low while providing maximum value. It offers USB, SD Card and Bluetooth input support, so you can choose precisely how you want to play your music, and a single 3.5mm audio output for connecting to standard headphones and small speakers, as well as to other amplifiers for larger speakers. This is complemented with five handy onboard buttons for controlling the playlist, volume, equaliser and input modes, and includes some thoughtful additions like an onboard electret microphone and Infrared receiver, as well as reserved pads for external power. These simple but very nicely considered features make these Modules some of the most enjoyable audio modules that we’ve had the pleasure of using, with a surprising level of versatility that makes them great for Custom Bluetooth Players, Car Audio Solutions, as well as for other cool applications like robotics and automation.

Please Note: When pairing to this module from a mobile device, it will appear with the name “Xpecial Audio”, which once connected will allow you to play audio wirelessly.
