The LiPo Battery Alarm & Volt Monitor is a clever little device that can be integrated into the circuitry of an RC vehicle, to monitor the power levels of batteries and set off an alarm at critically low levels. This primarily offers the benefit of improved battery health, as you can see precisely what levels your batteries are charging and discharging, but also helps you locate RC vehicles if their batteries go flat while they are out of your sight radius.

The alarm is compatible with 1 to 8 cell LiPo Batteries, and can be set to sound the alarm at various levels. If you are planning to take your RC vehicle on a long-distance flight or drive, you may want to set the alarm to sound off at higher voltages, to give yourself extra time to fly or drive back to your location. At shorter distances you can set the alarm to sound at lower voltages, so that you can get the most out of each charge on your batteries, while still enjoying the benefit of the alarm sounding to let you know when your time is almost up.
