This 7.4V LiPo USB Battery Charger module is a great little electronics unit designed to make charging your batteries and projects simple and easy. It is a complete Module that needs no extra parts aside from a standard USB Micro charging cable or AC adapter, and offers a good range of features that include reverse connection protection, overcharge prevention, as well as input current limitation to protect Batteries from unnecessary damage.
One of the best features about this module, in addition to the array of protection features, is that it is small and versatile enough to be integrated into Electronics projects, where it can act as both a Battery Charging unit, and a power supply unit. When used in this way, it can power the project via the Micro USB cable, while charging the project’s onboard batteries. Then, when the project is unplugged from the AC adapter or Micro USB Power cable, the charged batteries can take over and keep your project Powered Up when it needs to be portable.
