This MK2a Heated Bed is a 300x200mm build platform made from PCB that is designed to heat up to temperatures of between 40°C and around 100°C for 3D Printing. It operates at 12V/150W, with the high temperatures promoting better bed adhesion for both ABS Filament and PLA Filament prints.

The bed is designed with red soldermask and white silkscreen on both sides for aesthetic appeal, as well as for easy identification of the top and bottom sides, and has mounting holes to fit directly onto 3D Printers with relative ease. The MK2 iteration is not necessarily an upgrade from the original MK1, but does offer a range of quality-of-life improvements like an extra mounting hole and neater througholes for connections.

The bed is capable of reaching temperatures of up to 110°C, although we recommend temperatures between 40° and 70° for Abs and 70° to 90°C for PLA prints. Just remember that this bed needs time to heat up, and will maintain that heat for a while after being turned off. As such, always check that the bed is not too hot by holding your hand close to it without touching, as grabbing the plate without checking could lead to harm.

The 12V/150W 300x200mm MK2a Heated Bed is originally designed to be used on the Prusa i3 3D Printers, and is intended as an upgrade for a larger build space. It is made from laminate PCB with copper layers for extra conductivity, and has even been improved aesthetically with a soldermask and silkscreen design on both sides. Just remember that this heatbed operates at high temperatures, so exercise caution and check the temperature carefully before simply grabbing the bed to avoid any unnecessary burns.
