MXL Timing Belt 6.35mm - Priced Per Meter

Timing or synchronous belts are extremely useful in the design of machinery, where they transfer motion and torque between components with little backlash or vibration. Timing belts offer a motion drive solution which is lighter, less expensive and quieter compared to other types of drive systems, which is extremely advantages. They are used extensively in 3D printers, standard 2D printers, robotics, Lasercutters and many other CNC applications. Another useful characteristic of timing belts is that they operate with very little vibration under load, making them a good choice for sensitive equipment.

This MXL (Mini extra-light-pitch) synchronous timing belt has a trapezoidal shaped tooth profile with a standard pitch of 0.08in (2.032mm) and a width of 1/4in (6.35mm). Be sure to use MXL pulleys with this and not GT2 or S2M pulleys as they will not mesh correctly.
