When looking at the industry of Hobbyist 3D Printing, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with the sheer magnitude of different brands, all vying for market share and attention and each offering similar, albeit unique, 3D Printers, components and consumables. Fortunately, however, despite the seemingly vast clutter of different brands available to Makers, there are a few that stand above the rest, offering a competitive advantage that other brands simply cannot, and differentiating themselves in a marketplace that is growing in saturation.
This Bondtech BMG Extruder is an Original BMG from the widely popular Bondtech Brand. It is crafted to a very high standard, and focuses far more on actual quality and effectiveness, rather than on the cost, and this is why there are almost no clones or copies that can truly compare to the original quality of Bondtech products – and this is why, after testing out numerous clones to try save customers money, we simply had to resort to the real deal, manufactured by the brand who are known to be leaders in the industry.
The Bondtech BMG is a somewhat universal extruder assembly, featuring numerous mounting points to accommodate a wide range of different 3D Printers. It offers a very effective dual-drive-gear system that snugly grips 3D Filaments from both sides and guides it down the Bowden tube or heatbreak, while simultaneously preventing any stripping of the filament and ensuring that the pressure applied to the filament is precisely at the level it needs to be.

Typical Applications for The Original Bondtech BMG Extruder:
Although most 3D Printing extruder systems are designed for the sole purpose of guiding 3D Filaments to the hotend assembly with just the right amount of pressure, back pressure relief and control, most Extruder Assemblies are designed with specific machines in mind. However, the Bondtech BMG Extruder has been designed with a relatively universal fit for NEMA 17 Stepper Motors, with mounting points that can cater to a surprisingly wide range of different 3D Printer models.
With that being said, we can’t guarantee that it will work perfectly though, and if you want to use this extruder assembly for 3D Printers that have unique features or major differences, it’s a good idea to do some proper research before diving right in. Fortunately, there is a good chance that you may just need to print an adapter mount to fit your particular 3D Printer, although it’s always a good idea to be extra sure by doing research beforehand.
