This elegant Dolch Sky Keycap Set of 108 keys will top off your Mechanical Keyboard build with aesthetic keycaps of dark and light black and turquoise lettering.
There are many reasons why Makers do what we do, but to make something as striking as a custom Mechanical Keyboard is in the top few for why we love DIY. Over the past decade, Mechanical Keyboards have risen in popularity, especially among gamers, thanks to their superior responsive design and wide customisation. For us DIYers, that custom nature sparks even deeper interest and possibilities for 3D printing unique keyboard layouts. Mechanical Keyboards make awesome projects for even first time Tinkerers to gain Electronics experience in soldering, building open-source projects and using microcontrollers, and end up with a truly brilliant keyboard! If you are looking to build your own Mechanical Keyboard and don’t have the time to 3D print your own Keycaps, then this Dolch Sky Keycap Set is what you need to top off your Mechanical Keyboard build with a beautifully aesthetic keycaps of dark and light black and turquoise lettering.
Besides giving you a smart looking keyboard, this Dolch Sky Keycap Set has 108 keys which are ergonomically designed with the Cherry profile and could be arrange into multiple keyboard layouts, up to a full-sized Mechanical Keyboard build. Not to be confused with the various Cherry MX Switch types, Keycaps with a Cherry profile mean they are shaped with slightly bowed and slanted tops to accommodate the curve of your fingertip, are a bit shorter than standard OEM keycaps and have somewhat different angles and heights for each keyboard row. The Dolch Sky Keycap Set’s design will feel light and natural to your finger movements, and this set also supports an ergonomic build where you customize your keyboard layout usually slanted outwards to move your hands further apart and minimize muscle strain.
Made with PBT material and Doubleshot moulding, the Dolch Sky Keycap Set won’t wear down and leave you guessing which letter is which over the years. The lettering is not printed onto the plastic, but the keycaps are produced with two colours into one plastic piece. Tough keycaps like these are also nicely opaque in colour and block light, perfect for adding a magical LED backlight feature to your Mechanical Keyboard build which shines mesmerizingly between the keys. The customisable options for your Mechanical Keyboard are so endless that it’s impossible for us to mention everything here. We are beyond excited to see your Builds in our DIY Community.
Please Note: This package includes only the 108 Keys inside the Dolch Sky Keycap Set. If you are looking for packs of mechanical switches and other keyboard components, please be sure to check out our Mechanical Keyboards Range.

- One of the first decisions you are faced with when planning your Mechanical Keyboard build is which Switch Key to use. Cherry MX Switches are the golden standard, but many options exist in their colour-coded types. While the best way to know is to try them out with a Cherry MX Switch Tester, we found WePC’s Cherry MX Switches Guide helpful to know what makes each colour unique and worth it for your personal comfort.
However, Cherry MX switches do come with a premium price tag, but luckily, they are not the only quality mechanical switches out there. Gateron Switches offer better affordability and make just as great Gamer Keyboards. We recommend you check out the Gateron Mechanical Switch Guide for the differences between Gateron’s coloured switch types to help you decide your best option.
