JST PH 2-Way Housing - Female

When Prototyping new projects and connecting various Components and modules together, it’s common for Makers like you and us to simply create easy and temporary connections while we test our circuits and figure out whether the entire system will work as we anticipate. However, after Prototyping, it’s not a great idea to simply leave loose wires soldered together and parts connected in “less-than-professional” ways, in which case it comes time to upgrade the many Connectors & Wiring in your project to more permanent types, and this is why we always try to stock a wide range to cater to all kinds or projects and circuit designs.

These JST PH 2-Way Female Housings are connectors designed for Makers to create more professional and reliable connections, and are designed to a very similar specification to the JST XH Series of connectors that we stock. However, these are slightly smaller than JST XH connectors, catering to projects with even tighter space limitations, although because of this, these connectors have a smaller 2mm pitch, and are rated to only 100V @ 2A max instead of the 250V @ 3A max that JST XH connectors offer. Despite this limitation though, these connectors are still excellent for most Electronics applications, and as long as you aren’t planning on running more than the max ratings, these are arguably better due to the smaller, more compact form factor.
