• An Affordable 32bit Processor – Although this isn’t a new feature to the BTT SKR Motherboard range, we are continuously pleased to see the quality performance and speed that 32-bit processors facilitate in our favorite 3D Printers. With all of the more modern improvements, firmware updates and other minor upgrades along the way, 8bit boards simply can’t offer the quality that we know we can achieve in 3D Printing. Therefore, we get so excited with the fact that anyone can now enjoy a 32bt motherboard for relatively cheap, for faster potential printing speeds, smoother arches and curves, and overall, more power to accommodate future upgrades and advances as 3D Printing continuously evolves.
• Powerful 400MHz Cortex M7 CPU – the BTT SKR SE-BX V2.0 Motherboard has stepped up its game with an ARM Cortex M7 CPU that is not only 32-bit but also offers 400MHz clock frequency. As a result, it is capable of more complex printing and offers safety features like drive reverse plug protection, heating overload protection and real-time monitoring of power supply voltage to extend the durability and longevity.
• TMC2226 Sensorless Homing capabilities – Equipped with wonderful silent TMC2226 Drivers, the BTT SKR SE-BX V2.0 Controller Board also offers built in sensorless homing capabilities. Sensorless homing means your print head is able to home without the use of endstop switches. Instead, it detects the stall when the axis reaches the limit of its travel, ensuring no mishaps as a result of the endstop failing and more accurate smooth movements.

On top of this, the SKR SE-BX also features some really fancy minor and major upgrades all over the place, offering space for all of the classic upgrades like WiFi, power resume functionality, filament break detection and more, as well as some more unique extras such as CAN BUS support, as well as native support for Raspberry Pi Boards on the back of the display, making software like OctoPrint an absolute piece of cake to integrate, setup and start printing remotely from.

Please Note: This board can operate on both the main DC power input as well as USB power, and you need to choose between the power inputs by using a jumper over the 3 onboard pins labelled “IN | VCC | USB” in order to avoid causing unexpected damage. However, it must be noted that this board cannot actually print from USB power, which means that the USB power select is primarily just for interfacing with the board when setting up or flashing firmware.
