E3D V6 Cooling Tower for 3mm

This cooling tower is designed to fit 3mm direct drive extruders and hotends on E3D V6 Hotend Assemblies. It is made to keep the filament cool before it reaches the heater block, and ensures that there are no jams or blockages caused from filament melting in the wrong place.

On the bottom of the cooling tower, it has machined thread where it connects to the E3D heat break, whilst on the top end – where it connects to the extruder assembly – it is surrounded by a plastic shroud made to hold a 30mm Fan. This helps to maintain a nice cool temperature for the filament before it reaches the heat block, where it is then exposed to high heat and melted for printing.

This cooling tower is made for direct drive extruders only, and does not support Bowden-style extruders, so if you are looking for a cooling tower for your Bowden-style 3D printer, we also stock our E3D V6 Bowden Cooling Tower for both 1.75mm and 3mm filament.
