As Electronics and computing enthusiasts, we always love to see new development in Microcontrollers and single-board computers, as these often bring the best of two awesome industries together, to create something that is even more powerful, functional and versatile than a single computer or microcontroller could be. This is essentially why we are fanatics over the LattePanda Single-Board Computers, which are designed to offer the full power of a computer along with some cool microprocessing wide-work, to give developers like us the ultimate platform to experiment on, tinker with and learn from as we grow our skills and push the boundaries of our knowledge.

With this in mind, we shouldn’t even need to tell you just how excited we are with the LattePanda PiP Streaming Cable, as this amazing yet seemingly cable offers a lot more than it seems. This PiP Streaming Cable is designed to connect a full-sized computer to a LattePanda computer, and then use some clever techniques to actually open the LattePanda and utilise it within its own window on the full-sized computer. This is somewhat similar to the method used when connecting to servers and external stations via SSH & Telnet terminal emulators like PuTTY, and this will be quite familiar for anyone who has had some experience with remote access and management.

What we love about this is that it allows us to utilise LattePanda Computers as secondary computing devices – almost like expansion computers – and these can then offset the demand on your primary computer’s processor and other components, while still giving you pseudo-direct access to everything you need – all within a window on your main display. So now, with these awesome cables, you can have your main computer, your server, your media-rendering station, and even a dedicated FoldingAtHome node, all operating separately on their own processors, RAM and etc, but all accessible via the same mouse, keyboard, displays and even chair – truly offering the ultimate boost in efficiency and productivity for all of the different computer-related tasks that you need to do.

Offering a simple Plug ‘n’ Play connection style, 5G bandwidth, compatibility with most operating systems, 1080p streaming capabilities, as well as multi-system cross-link support, the LattePanda PiP Streaming Cable truly allows you to get the most out of your LattePanda computers, and we can’t help but feel that this is definitely one of the single-most valuable LattePanda Accessories that money can buy.
