This 1 Channel 12V Relay Module is capable of controlling a circuit of up to 30A and 240VAC, and is designed to keep both users and components safe from dangerous electrical currents or possible faults. Offering both Normally Open and Normally Closed modes of operation, this relay can be used as a simple electrical switch, or can act as a safety mechanism to turn off a machine or cut the power if something goes wrong.
Despite being able to actuate high current and high voltage circuits, the relay itself operates on up to 12VDC, which is safe for users if a fault occurs. Without a relay, if the high current circuit were to leak directly into a user, it could cause serious harm to a user and damage to the components. This is what makes single channel Electro-Mechanical Relays like this one such valuable investments, as they act as reliable safeguards to protect you and your projects from electrical leaks or faults.

This 1 Channel 12V Relay Module is designed to operate or actuate high current and high voltage circuits of up to 30A and 240VAC, and as such can be used for a wide range of applications. From 3D Printers and CNC millers to custom-built machines full of high current components, these relays are ideal for any case in which users or components need to be protected.
Additionally, relays like this can also simply be an easier way to operate multiple circuits, as a single Arduino Board or Raspberry Pi could easily control up to 14 different circuits – all while running on a lightweight 3V to 12V DC circuit that is relatively safe for users even if a short-circuit or electrical leak occurs.
