ABS is an extremely common thermoplastic used in almost every industry from automobiles to lawn chairs. ABS is actually a blend of 3 polymers and is available as many different sub types. We make sure that our ABS filament is made from only 100% virgin ABS that is best suited to 3D printing. Beware other suppliers selling bad quality or recycled ABS filament, you will have endless issues printing! (We learnt our lesson and buy only the best)
ABS can be a little tricky to print with, but is rewarding to get right as it has very favourable high temp and structural properties. It's very important that you get your print bed right in order to have a good print that does not detach or curl during printing. We recommend using glass covered with kapton tape and a thin layer of ABS dissolved in acetone painted onto the surface. A heated print bed is a must, although an extruder fan is rarely necessary as it is with PLA.
We supply only the highest quality ABS filament that comes spooled on a reel and vacuum sealed with a desiccant as ABS will absorb atmospheric moisture over time (remember this when storing your ABS!)
Consistent diameter and roundness
Recommended print temperature: 210'c - 240'c
Recommended heated bed temp: 80'c - 120'c
Avoid extruder fan as it can lead to weak layers and warped prints.

CCTREE is somewhat of a newcomer compared to brands like eSUN and Wanhao, but have certainly made big waves with their cost-effective PLA, ABS and Exotic 3D Printer Filaments.
They are a subsidiary of Shenzhen Prime Technology Company, and have chosen to partner with us as their South African suppliers, affording us the opportunity to supply South Africa with quality filament at an even lower price than they offer on their official website.
Aside from the cost-efficiency of their 3D Printer Filaments, what we like most about CCTREE is that they share a similar business approach to our own here at DIYElectronics, with the belief that “When you buy from us, the sale is not complete when we ship your order, it is complete when you are totally satisfied.”
