FlashForge PLA Filament - 1.75mm Green 0.5kg

As many of you fantastic 3D Makers will know, we recently stepped up our game by introducing the new Flashforge 3D Printers to our catalogue, as a means to offer a more professional suite of 3D Printers that go beyond he typical hobbyist collection of features. And after seeing such success from the brand and enthusiasm from Makers within the community here in SA, we’ve decided that our FlashForge 3D Printers need to complemented with FlashForge 3D Filament that matches the same impressive quality of their 3D Printers.

These relatively tiny spools of FlashForge PLA Filament are designed and stocked specifically to fit the FlashForge Adventurer 3, but can realistically be used on any 3D Printer that accepts non-proprietary 3D Filaments. The spools are 0.5kg, which is half the size of our typical spools, but are ready to deliver high-quality results regardless of what printer you are utilising the filament for.

Although we typically tend to favour green because of our DIYElectronics colours, we tried to be as objective as possible when judging this Green FlashForge Filament. And although we love to use green for as many different prints as possible, we found that this colour is a particularly good choice for decorative pieces with the home and office. This is primarily because the colour is very associated with nature, life and freshness, with some of the best prints being those that fitted in well with flowers, rock ornaments and other earthy prints. However, if you want your prints to really stand out from their surroundings, then you may certainly want to take a look at other colours, with the Red FlashForge Filament being particularly awesome for catching the eye and demanding the attention of onlookers. With that being said, if you want a colour that can blend into almost any environment while adding fresh, earthy tones to a scene, then green is definitely the right way to go.
