As many of you fantastic 3D Makers will know, we recently stepped up our game by introducing the new Flashforge 3D Printers to our catalogue, as a means to offer a more professional suite of 3D Printers that go beyond he typical hobbyist collection of features. And after seeing such success from the brand and enthusiasm from Makers within the community here in SA, we’ve decided that our FlashForge 3D Printers need to complemented with FlashForge 3D Filament that matches the same impressive quality of their 3D Printers.

These relatively tiny spools of FlashForge PLA Filament are designed and stocked specifically to fit the FlashForge Adventurer 3, but can realistically be used on any 3D Printer that accepts non-proprietary 3D Filaments. The spools are 0.5kg, which is half the size of our typical spools, but are ready to deliver high-quality results regardless of what printer you are utilising the filament for.

When comparing the Blue FlashForge Filament to many of the other colours that we stock, we always find ourselves getting the best results when printing ocean, beach and summer-themed prints. This includes objects like spades, buckets, shells, cocktail umbrellas and, of course, aquarium décor – just remember to coat any aquarium objects in food-safe epoxy or a similar fish-safe coating before letting your fish enjoy the new toys you’ve made them.

While blue is certainly an awesome colour to use if you want prints to subtly stand out but without taking centre-stage, if you’re looking for colours that are even more neutral than blue, then definitely consider our White or Black FlashForge PLA Filament, which is awesome for subtle prints that can blend into almost any environment or scene – without detracting any attention away from the part of your project that you’re trying to emphasise or accentuate.

FlashForge consists of a team of dedicated and passionate engineers who saw that there was a major gap in the market for high-end 3D Printers – but without high-end price tags attached. And so their journey began, which has over the years resulted in some of the world’s best hobbyist and professional grade 3D Printers, with some of their most impressive models actually placing in the Top 10 for many different 3D Printing News and Reviews sites.

The wide range of 3D Printers that FlashForge offers includes the popular models like the Dreamer, Creator Pro, Guider Series and Adventurer Series, as well as their lesser-known models like the Hunter, the Inventor Series, and a few models that didn’t quite make it to production. This expansive selection is not only amazing because of the sheer choice of different features and functionality that it gives to end-users, but also because it has helped them improve their skills, refine their designs, and nail down their supply chains to ensure premium quality parts at excellent rates – a benefit that they pass down to customers who consequently also get to enjoy reduced pricing on top quality components.

With over 13 sought-after models under their name and continuous development each and every year, FlashForge is a brand that we trust to deliver product and service excellent – but without the high price tag that such excellence typically demands.
