Location tracking and GPS capabilities, despite being a relatively old technology on the professional level, is quite a new advancement in the world of hobbyist electronics. However, not all of the GPS Modules out there are easy to use or even easy to understand, which is why DFRobot have taken the time to source and stock this fantastic little GPS Module with Enclosure.

This module is designed for ease-of-use for hobbyists, but can also be used for professional applications as well, and includes a predesigned enclosure to protect the Components from damage and keep them operating at optimal efficiency and accuracy. It features a UBX-G7020-KT multi-GNSS position chip, which has an integrated DC/DC converter and intelligent power management system that makes it ideal for low-power and low-cost applications. It also has built-in LDOs and LNA to eliminate the need for external memory, and all of these great features are complemented further by the modern u-blox 7 position engine to tie it all together.

Finally, this module is compatible with and ready to connect to GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS networks, which of course means you will never be out of options when choosing the network to couple the module to.
