What Makes the BIQU H2 500°C DDS Extruder & Hotend Kit So Amazing?

At first glance the BIQU H2 500°C is similar in specification to the well-known E3D Hemera Extruder, but this direct drive is more lightweight than the Hemera at only around 219 gams with a clever design. Hotends with reduced overall weight provide better accuracy as well as less mechanical drag during prints. This translates to a beautiful extruder/hotend combo that not only matches leading brands on the market, but actually surpasses them a few different ways.

The BIQU H2 500°C offers the very appreciated benefit of a titanium and copper heat break with other entirely all-metal parts for better thermal insulation & heat conduction. The H2 500°C works on a high-speed fan system for heat distribution and cooling at 9000 rpm. With the PTFE liner being the only plastic part involved in the design at all, this hotend assembly is ideal for high-temperature applications like integration into a 3D Printer Enclosure without worry about potential failures from overheated plastics. Our standard 3D Filament favourites such as PLA, ABS, and TPU will always be in our hearts, but going beyond has our excitement pumping. Reaching high temperatures up to 500°C, the BIQU H2 500°C DDS Extruder & Hotend Kit includes a hardened steel nozzle and offers Makers the chance to print with truly advanced materials such as Nylon, Carbon Fibre, Polycarbonate, and even PEEK. A 70W heater cartridge shoots the hotend up to high temperatures quickly and maintains it constant throughout the print.

Of course, if the above features weren’t enough, this beautiful DDS Extruder has been cleverly designed with multiple mounting points on all sides. A wide range of free STLs of existing extruder/hotend mounting brackets allow Makers to install the H2 500°C kit on the BIQU B1 and other 3D Printers such as the Creality Ender 3 V2. While it may not quite natively mount directly to the mounting brackets of all 3D Printers, the direct drive’s somewhat universal mounting points make it quite easy to design and print your own mount to cater to whatever machine you want to install it onto.
