The 38KHz Gravity Digital IR Receiver Module is designed to make IR communication integration for Arduino as easy as possible. IR remote controls or similar tools for televisions are commonplace in our lives. And while wireless IR communications don’t often get the recognition they deserve, they are certainly a fantastic tool to have in your Maker’s toolkit.
This Digital IR Receiver Module belongs to the Gravity series, compatible with Arduino and is ready to enhance your next project with remote control. The IR receiver can accept signals from any IR remote controller. While line-of-sight is required, you can typically increase the operating angle by using a matte transparent object in front of the receiver. Another great benefit that many Makers will be able to appreciate is that this module is designed to be Arduino compatible, thanks to its operating voltage of 5V.
