Riden DP & DPS PSU Module Enclosure B

As Makers who love DIY all the things that we can, it’s often difficult to pass up on the opportunity to actually build something rather than just buy it, because there’s something that’s just so special about building things yourself, with there usually being a lot of opportunities for minor (or major) customisations along the way to differentiate your thing from all the others, and add a personal touch that suits your particular style. This is why we simply love Riden’s range of PSU Interfacing Modules like the DPS5020-USB, and of course that’s precisely why we’ve extra effort to get in this Riden DP & DPS PSU Module Enclosure B.

The Riden DP & DPS PSU Module Enclosure B is a specially designed case supplied directly from Riden, the makers of the amazing RD and DPS PSU Interfacing Modules, and is built specifically for the communication models in the DP and DPS range. It comes packed full of little goodies for connecting everything up and giving DIY PSUs better safety and cooling capabilities, so as to keep your DIY PSU safe, protected from the elements, operating at good temperatures, and ultimately easy to use. This kit includes a 4010 Axial Fan and fan control module, screw-in terminals for both the inputs and outputs, a heavy duty rocker switch for hard-wired on/off functionality, as well as all the cabling you need to connect everything together in a neat and tidy way. In fact, the only way that you could improve this design is with a bit of hot glue and a reliable fuse to keep it extra safe, making it a perfect companion to keep your DPS5020-USB PSU Module operating effectively, efficiently and safely.

If you’ve been eyeing out the DPS5020-USB PSU Interfacing Module but have been holding back due to the loose module-style of it, this enclosure may be just what you need to dive in and get started building your own customised, personalised and stylised DIY Variable Power Supply. Just remember that the enclosure may not be quite big enough to fit a PSU inside though, so that will have to be mounted elsewhere and connected up via the input screw-in terminals.
