This is a great alternative to the classic Brass Anti-Backlash Leadscrew Nut, but also offers a lower friction coefficient and as such also typically lasts for a longer lifespan than brass as well.

The benefits of using POM (Delrin) instead of brass include the fact that Delrin offers reduced resistance due to friction, as well as a longer lifespan since POM is naturally self-lubricating. This results in less wear and tear but more consistent accuracy over time when compared to harder materials like brass.
