These half-litre bottles of Monocure’s Black Rapid Resin are designed for LED/LCD DLP Printers like the Wanhao Duplicator 7 and Anycubic Photonand are formulated to produce pure black prints with around 5% transparency. This is great for making sleek black prints like futuristic vehicles or alien models, which typically look good in black, with a slight sheen to pronounce the details.

Of course, you can utilise this Black Rapid Resin from Monocure for any prints you need to, but after doing a few tests we’ve found that black resin tends to lend itself better to parts or models with sharp details that don’t feature large glare sections. However, with that being said, we’ve also produced some impressive rounded prints of cartoon ghosts and other playful characters, so just be sure to do some research before deciding on black, since it doesn’t always show fine details as well as brighter colours do.

If you’re looking for quality resin from Monocure, but just in different colours for various prints and projects, check out our Monocure Resins category for all of the colours that we have in stock.

Please Note: While this 3D resin is designed primarily for low-power DLP printers, it is however possible to use this resin for higher powered machines such as SLA and high power projector-based machines, provided you do some tweaking of your settings and lowering of the power output.

Monocure 3D Rapid Resin - Black 0.5 Litre

Within the world of SLA and DLP Printing, there are few brands who can truly stand out from the crowd with quality 3D Resins, and amongst these brands, the choice of colours, polymers and other unique characteristics are extremely limited. That was true, at least until we found Monocure, who are arguably the most impressive 3D Resin brand in the world.

Formed by chemists with a real passion for liquid polymers and UV-sensitive “plastics”, these resins have been designed, refined and perfected over the past few years to provide hobbyists and desktop fabricators with top quality resins that are not only effective, but also diverse in the ranges of different colours, types of polymers, and intended use cases.
