Monocure 3D Rapid Resin - Grey 0.5 Litre

These half-litre bottles of Monocure’s Grey Rapid Resin are designed for LED/LCD DLP Printers like our range of Creality Resin 3D Printers. This Rapid Resin is formulated to produce Grey prints with around 5% transparency. This is amazing for producing prints that you intend to paint or touch up with post-print work, as the grey acts as a sort of primer that allows other colours to pop when applied over it. This also opens up the opportunity for printing and selling models like Cosplay gear or jewellery, while offering buyers the ability to paint and decorate the pieces themselves with whatever colours and styling that they see fit.

Of course, you can utilise this Grey Rapid Resin from Monocure for any kinds of prints, but after experimenting with printing little Warhammer-like figurines and Cosplay guns and gear from our favourite games and animations, we’ve found that grey is the best colour to use if you plan on painting or touching up the prints afterwards. Other common applications for grey resin includes models in which details are important, such as designs of cockpits and finely detailed mechanical panels. For such prints, you want the details to be very visible, without any distracting colours to draw attention away from those details.

Please Note: While this 3D resin is designed primarily for low-power DLP printers, it is however possible to use this resin for higher powered machines such as SLA and high power projector-based machines, provided you do some tweaking and lowering of the power output.
