When it comes to 3D Printing, the DLP technique certainly offers a much higher level of detail due to the high-definition masking LCD that is used to build each layer. However, while most 3D Resins are designed for detail and precision, DLP Printing typically can’t compete with the strength and durability of FDM prints – or at least that was the case until now!

These 0.5L bottles of Monocure TUFF 3D Resin are filled with a unique 3D Resin that is a blend of advanced urethanes, polymerised to offer the impressive level of detail of classic 3D Resins, while also adding some extra strength and durability features that give it a high level of tensile strength. This is achieved by mixing polymers that offer high strength, a slight amount of flexibility, and effective hardening capabilities that make it far more durable than almost any 3D Resins on the market, and can even be machined afterwards to get it into the perfect shape or form for a wide range of applications.

While Monocure TUFF 3D Resin is certainly a great product alone, one of the key features of this resin is that it can also be mixed with other 3D Resins to enhance or diminish certain qualities. So, if you want your TUFF Resin to be more flexible, simply add some Monocure FLEX100 Resin to the mix and stir it well. Alternatively, if you want slightly less flex and more standard characteristics, with just a little bit more strength than standard Resins, simply add Monocure Rapid Resin to reduce the overall volume of TUFF urethanes in the blend. This of course means that you can really customise your DLP Prints in the ways that best suit your application, while enjoying the impressive quality standard that Monocure has become quite famous for in 3D Printing.

If you’re looking for quality resin from Monocure, but just in different colours for various prints and projects, check out our Monocure Resins category for all of the colours and specialised polymers that we have in stock.

Please Note: While this 3D resin is designed primarily for low-power DLP printers, it is however possible to use this resin for higher powered machines such as SLA and high power projector-based machines provided you do some tweaking and lowering of the power output.

Within the world of SLA and DLP Printing, there are few brands who can truly stand out from the crowd with quality 3D Resins, and amongst these brands, the choice of colours, polymers and other unique characteristics are extremely limited. That was true, at least until we found Monocure, who are arguably the most impressive 3D Resin brand in the world.

Formed by chemists with a real passion for liquid polymers and UV-sensitive “plastics”, these resins have been designed, refined and perfected over the past few years to provide hobbyists and desktop fabricators with top quality resins that are not only effective, but also diverse in the ranges of different colours, types of polymers, and intended use cases.
