In the world of 3D Printing, there are only a few brands who have garnered enough of a reputation for themselves to become synonymous with the types of products they produce, and one such brand is NinjaTek, who have succeeded in becoming the first (and often only) name that millions of Makers consider of when thinking about flexible filaments.

This NinjaTek NinjaFlex Filament is part of the original range, and is manufactured in “Midnight” Black for 1.75mm extruder setups. What we love most about NinjaFlex Midnight Black is that, despite what some may think, black tends to show fine details really well, as the reflections on all of the different sides and angles can be quite predominant with the right lighting conditions. This, in addition the natural neutrality of black, makes it ideal for a wide range of different prints, from home décor to tank tracks or even subtle accessories like bangles, rings or personalised belt buckles.

Offering some of the best flexibility traits in the world and renowned for their consistent quality throughout each and every spool, it’s easy to see why NinjaTek has garnered the number one position for Flexible Filaments in 3D Printing. However, if you’re interested in flexible filaments, be sure to check out our entire selection of NinjaTek TPU Filaments, as you may be surprised at how they’ve refined their range into some very unique polymers – with each type catering to a specific range of applications.

Why We Chose to Bring NinjaTek Filament to SA:

When it comes to flexible filaments, the very first brand that many Makers around the world will think of is NinjaTek. This is because, in addition to simply refining their TPU polymers into some of the best and easiest to use in the world, NinjaTek have even taken TPU to the next level with a range of different polymerisations, which each of their ranges offering distinct and unique traits like extra durability, conductivity or all-round strength.

So, if you’re looking for a flexible filament that also offers extra characteristics in addition to the flexibility, be sure to take a look at the entire NinjaTek range, which include the standard NinjaFlex, the extremely durable “Armadillo”, the electrically conductive “Eel”, as well as their all-rounder “Cheetah” filament.

NinjaTek is an impressive company that has become the world leader in flexible filament polymerisation and production, and while many other competitors were vying for first place in colour quality and natural-like polymers, NinjaTek already knew precisely what their focus was on, and they have excelled in their specialisation to such an extent that few other flexible filament manufacturers even get mentioned in forums and online communities nowadays.

Proof of NinjaTek’s capabilities is clearly demonstrated in their range of unique flexible filaments, which most manufacturers don’t dare to explore, as this range includes filaments that are not just flexible, but also offer special characteristics for various applications, including a conductive flexible filament that is named NinjaFlex Eel – in the classic tongue-in-cheek naming style that NinjaTek sport so well.

In addition to the electrically conductive and flexible Eel Filament, NinjaTek also offers their classic NinjaFlex Filament, as well as a high-durability Armadillo Filament and an all-rounder blend called Cheetah Filament. All of these are flexible of course, but surprisingly diverse in their various applications, which is even more evidence to show that NinjaTek are at the top of their game and at the top of the flexible filaments industry.

As an additional interesting note, as of November 2018, NinjaTek and ColourFabb have formed a partnership to strengthen their supply chains and become the world leaders in not just flexibles, but also various polymers and perfect colour-blending as well.
