This Upgraded Anycubic Kossel Delta Plus 2018 Model is the linear variant of the new iteration, that comes equipped with an automatic bed levelling function as well as a heated bed, with a few extra minor upgrades relating to part quality and positional accuracy. These new features allow for printing in a wider range of different 3D Printer Filaments, while adding convenience to the first setup, as well as better accuracy throughout the lifespan of the 3D Printer.

Whereas previous iterations of the Kossel Delta Plus came without a heated bed, this new model comes with a heatbed that can comfortably reach temperatures of around 100°C. This not only makes the printer more capable, since the range of filaments that you can print with are increased, but it also helps to improve overall print quality by drastically reducing warping and sagging during prints, as the edges of the prints won’t cool down and begin to pull away from the bed while the extruder is still laying plastic.

The other fantastic upgrade featured on this model is the automatic bed levelling function, which is more of a quality of life upgrade, although it does also improve the consistency of quality over multiple prints. While the previous version would require the user to manually level the bed before the first print, and then again for each ten or so prints after that, this model does it all for you at the touch of a few buttons. When activated, it quickly checks various points on the bed over about one minute or so, and then stores the various offsets, which enables it to adjust to any small undulations while printing.

Additional minor improvements that Anycubic have added to this model include a slightly upgraded frame and chassis for enhanced stability and durability, as well as better positional accuracy due to the more rigid build and little improvements to the machining of parts. These add even more value to a great set of features that the Kossel Delta Plus – 2018 model offers, making it not only an ideal starting point for someone who is new to 3D Printing, but also a worthy upgrade for anyone who already owns a Kossel Delta printer and loves the delta style and build quality.

Typical Applications for the Anycubic Kossel Delta Plus – 2018 Model:

The Upgraded Linear Variant of the Anycubic Kossel Delta Plus 3D printer is a good investment whether you are brand new to 3D Printing or whether you are eager to upgrade from your current model. It is a delta-style printer, which means it uses Linear Guide Rails, timing belts and T-Slot Aluminium Extrusion to hang the extruder assembly within a circular build volume of Ø230x300mm. This enables it to print at high speeds, since the weight of the extruder is shared between three different points, rather than being situated on a single cross-rail.
