The Creality CR-10 Mini 3D Printer is a compact but very impressive 3D printer, and is based on the highly-popular Creality CR-10S design. It takes many of the most impressive features of its older siblings – the Creality CR-10 and the S4 and S5 variations – and fits them all into a tiny form factor. It is ideal for beginners or Makers who are looking for quality but don’t need a massive build volume, and the machine has been tried and tested to print for as long 300 consecutive hours without any damages or unexpected problems.

The Creality CR-10 Mini offers impeccable quality at a fraction of the price of a full CR-10, and even includes a few upgrades to the design that make this model as hassle-free as possible. In comparison to the original design of the CR-10, the CR-10 Mini has no 3D printed parts, and instead uses plastic injection moulded parts which can be designed with 100% accuracy for a much longer lifespan. It also comes equipped with many of the exciting features that were added on to models after the CR-10, such as the Print Resume Feature that keeps printing progress in memory in case of power cuts or faults, a more stable and secure base for higher precision printing, as well as a newer model of the Controller Board.

However, with the size reduction, there are few small features that have been left out to keep the price within the entry-level range. Fortunately, most of these are not even noticeable unless you are a real master of Creality’s CR-10 range, although the one that has affected us most is the fact that the CR-10 Mini cannot connect to a PC via USB. Aside from that small inconvenience though, this little brother of the ever-popular CR-10 is still an excellent investment for anyone looking to enter the world of 3D Printing, as well as for Makers who are eager to get a spare, smaller printer for specific applications like printing kitchen utensils or small adapters, enclosures or mounts for Electronics projects.

One particularly nice feature that has been added, that is relatively new to 3D printing in general, is the ability for this little CR-10 Mini to print directly from your phone, which brings a whole new level of convenience to the industry, while making space for future mobile modelling and scanning software.

Typical Applications for the Creality CR-10 Mini 3D Printer:

Despite the small size and slightly reduced functionality of the Creality CR-10 Mini 3D Printer, it is an amazing deal for anyone looking for a quality entry-level printer. It comes equipped with all of the best features that have made Creality one of the leading suppliers of 3D Printers, and is built to last even through the first few weeks of experimentation for those who are still learning the ropes.

Additionally, as with all of our other products, we offer full support to ensure that – regardless of your skill level as a 3D Maker – you will be able to get the full enjoyment from your investment. However, as with all new technologies and products, you may have to spend some time learning the basics if you’ve never printed before, but that’s just part of the fun of learning to fabricate you own parts, models, toys or whatever else you’ve always dreamed of making – all from the comfort of your bedroom, workshop or even kitchen if that’s your style.

Although Creality 3D have been working within the industry since 2014, their addition of the Creality CR-10 series is what really catapulted them to the front line of competition, as it offered substantially better quality compared to other 3D printers – while simultaneously reducing the cost and complexities of the machines.

The quality of Creality’s 3D Printers and accessories shows through in their market history, with the brand selling around 3000 printers in their first year on the market, followed by about 10,000 sales over the next year. Now, Creality easily sells around 30,000 or more 3D printers each year, with sales continuously rising as they bring out more models. These are impressive numbers when considering the fact that they entered the industry as unknown competitors, quickly rising through the ranks and now even competing with Wanhao and similar top brands.

If you are looking for excellent 3D Printers that offer affordability without compromising on quality, Creality 3D is certainly a brand that you should take note of. From the basic Creality Ender 2 all the way up to the large build volume Creality CR-10 S5, there are few other brands who are capable of offering such a refined package while still maintaining some of the most enticing prices in the industry.
