The world of 3D Printing just never seems to sleep, and we’re excited to announce once again that Creality have brought out an excellent new model – The Creality CR-20 – which takes everything they’ve learned from previous models and blends it into a 3D printer that not only offers amazing quality and a full set of features, but also the most enticing price tag to date!
Designed with a high quality rigid frame, a large 220x220x250mm build volume, many of the very best features from the Ender series and CR-10 series, as well as a genuine Mean Well PSU, there are few 3D printers that can match the sheer cost-effectiveness of this new game-changer. And in addition to the plethora of features like Auto-Resume functionality, an integrated control box on the base, and what is arguably one of the most rigid and sturdy chassis builds around, the Creality CR-20 is possibly the most convenient, user-ready and quality-focused desktop 3D Printers available.
In addition to bringing some of the best features from the CR-10 and Ender series, some unique features – brand new to Creality’s Desktop Range of printers – include a super-rigid base frame and a convenient “Flexy-Sheet”. The base is made from sturdy machined aluminium to cover the underside of the heatbed, electronics and PSU from debris, while adding to the rigid structure and, in turn, the quality of the prints that it produces. The “Flexy-Sheet”, on the other hand, is designed for sheer convenience, and allows users to simply remove the sheet from the aluminium bed and flex it to “pop” the prints off without needing any form of scraper.
These features have all been packed into a beautiful blend of quality, convenience and cost-effectiveness that we believe is only possible from Creality 3D – the current leaders in desktop 3D printers and home fabrication.
An Extra Safety Note: Please be sure to toggle the correct AC supply setting on the side of the PSU before plugging it in. It has the option for 110V or 220V AC to accommodate international power ratings, but of course you will want to choose 220V AC for 3D printers in South Africa.

If you have been waiting for 3D Printing to get the experimental stage and into the realm of full-featured desktop fabricators, then the Creality CR-20 3D Printer is the machine you’ve been waiting for. With a simple 6-screw, 2-part installation process, a simple user interface that even a child could operate, as well as a price tag of less than a typical laptop nowadays, this “beginner-printer” rivals some of the big boys that have been wildly popular in online communities for the past few years – all at around half the price of a typical high-end machine!
Exceeded my Expectations
The printer works great out of the box. I did not expect it to print as well as it did. And it includes everything you need to get started.
I would definitely recommend this 3d printer!
Great Printer
Just Bought one of these, awesome results and quick setup time. Hooked on printing 3D
Although Creality 3D have been working within the industry since 2014, their addition of the Creality CR-10 series is what really catapulted them to the front line of competition, as it offered substantially better quality compared to other 3D printers – while simultaneously reducing the cost and complexities of the machines.
The quality of Creality’s 3D Printers and accessories shows through in their market history, with the brand selling around 3000 printers in their first year on the market, followed by about 10,000 sales over the next year. Now, Creality easily sells around 30,000 or more 3D printers each year, with sales continuously rising as they bring out more models. These are impressive numbers when considering the fact that they entered the industry as unknown competitors, quickly rising through the ranks and now even competing with Wanhao and similar top brands.
If you are looking for excellent 3D Printers that offer affordability without compromising on quality, Creality 3D is certainly a brand that you should take note of. From the basic Creality Ender 2 all the way up to the large build volume Creality CR-10 S5, there are few other brands who are capable of offering such a refined package while still maintaining some of the most enticing prices in the industry.
Great printer for the price
Good quality printer for the price, compared to other printers with worse specs and are much more expensive. Had some trouble initially with the printer as it skipped layers. Loosening the filament feeder by just a little solved the issue.
