With the introduction of the Halot-Sky, Creality is setting their eyes on the stars with a 3D printer sturdy enough to pass for a desk rocket! SLA or DLP Printers are known in the industry for reaching levels of detail that cannot be reached with FDM 3D Printers. Creality has noticed this trend and as a result, they have dedicated more resources to developing exciting new resin 3D Printers, with notable releases such as the LD-002R. LD-002H, and LD-006. Each of these resin 3D Printers have offered a key benefit, such as higher levels of detail, faster print speeds, and larger build volume. Now, a new range of Creality Halot Resin 3D Printers has landed with entirely new and impressive unique features.
While we were giddy to get the Halot-One 3D printer into our hands, the Creality Halot-Sky was already rocketing into our sights. As the bigger sibling of the Halot-One, this Creality Halot-Sky is a tank of a 3D Printer, landing a 192 x 120 x 200mm build volume with a sturdy reinforced z-axis structure onto your table. However, many of its exciting changes are internal. The Halot-Sky has improved on Creality’s integral light system, resulting in a noticeable increase in awe-inspiring detail. It is worth having a closer look at these additional and unique features that distinguish Creality’s Halot-Sky 3D Printer.
With all this in mind, it made sense as to why Creality moved away from adding this to the LD series and rather started a fresh and exciting new resin Halot Series. If you are interested in resin 3D printing be sure to have a look at the UW-01 and UW-02 clean and cure stations to make post-processing much easier.
Please Note: The Halot-Sky is compatible with HALOTBOX, and Lychee slicers. Chitubox is currently not compatible, but this may change in future updates.

It is clear Creality has broken away from the LD range with the release of the Halot series. The DIYElectronics team have been eager to really dive in and discover everything this new 3D printer range has to offer, and we are happy to say we are thoroughly impressed. The Creality Halot-Sky is an example of the innovation we love to see from the Creality Brand, stepping it up a notch further with the unique features we’ve pointed out in the description above. During our own tinkering, we’ve made a few extra observations that we couldn’t wait to share with you, our valued customers.
The Creality Halot-Sky is a medium sized printer in the Halot Series, with the Halot-Max being the giant of them all. However, this 192 x 120 x 200mm build volume is large and you feel the power of this machine the moment you place the Halot-Sky onto your table. This brings exciting possibilities for small businesses and 3D Hobbyists looking to print bigger scale models at incredible detail. This also means that a larger vat is required for the Halot-Sky and it’s good to keep in mind a healthy helping of resin is needed to ensure you don’t run out halfway through printing. Of course, in mentioning the vat, we were pleasantly surprised that the Halot-Sky features a vat with two handles and four small rubber feet to stand on – Something we have never seen before! Those tiny additions are a dream for the ease of working with liquid resin in your vat and keeping your FEP sheet clear of the dirty surface of your workshop table. Creality has put thought in the features they added to the Halot-Sky 3D Printer that make it well worth the premium price.
If you’re eager to see a second opinion and a great visual discussion of the interesting features of the Creality Halot-Sky 3D Printer and how it holds up with continuous use, Hiro Creations, a beta tester of the Halot-Sky, has released this informative YouTube review video:
No customer reviews for the moment.
Although Creality 3D have been working within the industry since 2014, their addition of the Creality CR-10 series is what really catapulted them to the front line of competition, as it offered substantially better quality compared to other 3D printers – while simultaneously reducing the cost and complexities of the machines.
The quality of Creality’s 3D Printers and accessories shows through in their market history, with the brand selling around 3000 printers in their first year on the market, followed by about 10,000 sales over the next year. Now, Creality easily sells around 30,000 or more 3D printers each year, with sales continuously rising as they bring out more models. These are impressive numbers when considering the fact that they entered the industry as unknown competitors, quickly rising through the ranks and now even competing with Wanhao and similar top brands.
If you are looking for excellent 3D Printers that offer affordability without compromising on quality, Creality 3D is certainly a brand that you should take note of. From the basic Creality Ender 2 all the way up to the large build volume Creality CR-10 S5, there are few other brands who are capable of offering such a refined package while still maintaining some of the most enticing prices in the industry.
