Carry Pouch for the TS100 / TS101 / TS80 / TS80P

Although we all love to Make, and to create circuits that build into full projects and ultimately achieve some kind of goal or challenge that makes our lives better, more convenient or a little more fun in some or other way, some Makers like to take this a step further with portable tools like the TS80 Smart Soldering Iron. However, for anyone who has been acquainted with the classic style of Soldering Irons from the past, this may seem like a farfetched idea, as it’s hard to imagine lugging around a heavy soldering station from place to place, waiting for it to heat up when you need it, and carefully storing it away once you’re done – but of course with the TS80 and even the TS100 Soldering Iron, this is now a possible reality, since they are lightweight, easy to fit into a small case, and offer a surprisingly quick heat-up time even when powered by portable Batteries.

This Carry Pouch for the TS100, TS101 & TS80 is a specially designed case to help add some extra convenience (and style!) to the On-The-Go Maker’s life, offering a compact and relatively sleek way to carry your favourite Soldering Irons around with relative ease. It features an integrated loop and sleeve within the case that snugly holds a TS100, TS101 TS80 or the more modern TS80P, and also has two extra little loops to fit two soldering tips as well. This means that you can now take your soldering iron out into the wild with you, but without having to worry about keeping it safe from external damage, and you can even bring a spare or alternative Soldering tip to help you get just the right solder joints you need – without having to take projects or modules back to the workshop just to make a minor (or major) fix.

The pouch itself is made from high quality PU leather, with a relatively sturdy zip around the edges that keep everything safely stored within. Furthermore, there is also a fair amount of extra space within this pouch, and we’ve found this to be perfect for keeping a spare bit of solder or other Soldering Accessories like the Grounding Wire within the pouch. This makes it more than just a safe way to store and carry around your most important Electronics repair tool, and this tiny case (along with a PSU or battery pack) can entirely replace a full toolbox or large carry case. Please Note: Although this carry pouch will be quite resistant to heat due to the clever material usage, it’s still a good idea to let your iron cool down before putting it directly into the pouch.
