These half-litre bottles of Monocure’s Blue Rapid Resin are designed for LED/LCD DLP Printers like the Wanhao Duplicator 7 and Anycubic Photon, and are formulated to produce Blue prints with around 10% transparency. This results in striking prints that blend well with nature, and is perfect for ornamental pieces like flower vases, napkin holders or sea creature decorations.
Compared to colours like grey and red, blue resin from Monocure appears to be less shiny, with a more matte-like finish that accentuates curves rather than sharp edges. And while you can certainly use it for almost any prints that you see fit, after testing this colour in our workshop, we’ve enjoyed the playful appeal that blue can offer when printing fun cartoon characters, rounded ghostly figures, as well as various fish species – upon request of a particular employee who loves to spend time at the reel on weekends.
If you’re looking for quality resin from Monocure, but just in different colours for various prints and projects, check out our Monocure Resins category for all of the colours that we have in stock.
Please Note: While this 3D resin is designed primarily for low-power DLP printers, it is however possible to use this resin for higher powered machines such as SLA and high power projector-based machines, provided you do some tweaking and lowering of the power output.

Within the world of SLA and DLP Printing, there are few brands who can truly stand out from the crowd with quality 3D Resins, and amongst these brands, the choice of colours, polymers and other unique characteristics are extremely limited. That was true, at least until we found Monocure, who are arguably the most impressive 3D Resin brand in the world.
Formed by chemists with a real passion for liquid polymers and UV-sensitive “plastics”, these resins have been designed, refined and perfected over the past few years to provide hobbyists and desktop fabricators with top quality resins that are not only effective, but also diverse in the ranges of different colours, types of polymers, and intended use cases.
