Pre-Order Sale Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions ("T+Cs") outline the terms of the pre-order sale ("Sale") for products designated as “Pre-Order” ("Product") offered by DIYElectronics ("Seller", "we", "us", or "our"). By placing a pre-order, you ("Customer", "you", or "your") agree to the following terms:

Pre-Order Process:

1.1. During the Sale period, customers may place a pre-order for the Product.

1.2. Two deposit options are available:

• 50% Refundable Deposit: Customers can secure their pre-order by paying a refundable deposit of 50% of the Product's total price.
• 10% Non-Refundable Deposit: Customers can secure their pre-order by paying a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the Product's total price.

Balance Payment:

2.1. For customers who chose to participate in the Sale, upon the Product's availability, they are required to pay the remaining balance of the Product's total price within 14 days of notification of product arrival.

• 50% Refundable Deposit option, customers can choose to pay the remaining balance and receive the product or cancel their order and receive a refund of their deposit in full. Should a decision not be made within 14 days from the arrival notice, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the deposit at our discretion.
• 10% Non-Refundable Deposit option, Failure to pay the balance within 14 days from the Product's availability will result in the forfeiture of the 10% deposit.

Refund and Cancellation:

3.1. If the Customer cancels their pre-order before the Product's availability, the deposit will be refunded as follows:

• 50% Refundable Deposit: The 50% deposit will be fully refunded should the customer request cancellation, however the refund will only be available when the product becomes available as per 2.1.
• 10% Non-Refundable Deposit: The 10% deposit is non-refundable.

3.2. In the event that the Seller cancels the Sale, all deposits will be fully refunded to the Customers.

3.3. In case of cancellation by either the Customer or the Seller after the Product's availability, all Customers, including those who chose the 10% Non-Refundable Deposit, may be eligible for a refund at the Seller's discretion.

 Product Availability:

4.1. The estimated availability date of the Product will be communicated to the Customers during the pre-order process. However, this date is subject to change, and the Seller will provide updates as necessary.

4.2. Delays in production, shipping, or other unforeseen circumstances may affect the Product's availability date. The Seller will not be held responsible for such delays.

Product Delivery:

5.1. Once the Product is available, the Seller will notify Customers who have paid the remaining balance, if applicable, and arrange for product delivery to the provided shipping address within South Africa.
