It is assumed that the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to DIYElectronics throughout the entirety of this document. We offer all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following "Terms and conditions of use", including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of this site.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. 1.       General

1.1.      Use of the Website

1.1.1.        By accessing the website, you warrant and represent to the website owner that you are legally entitled to do so and to make use of information made available via the website.

1.2.      Trademarks

1.2.1.        The trademarks, names, logos and service marks (collectively “trademarks”) displayed on this website are registered and unregistered trademarks of the website owner. Nothing contained on this website should be construed as granting any license or right to use any trademark without the prior written permission of the website owner.

1.3.1.        We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

1.3.2.        You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to the technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

1.3.3.        You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us. The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

1.4.1.        We are not responsible if the information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.

1.4.2.        This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to our site.

1.5.      Modifications to the Service and Prices

1.5.1.        Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

1.5.2.        We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service

1.6.1.        Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store and cannot guarantee that you will receive exactly what is displayed on your screen.

1.6.2.        We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

1.6.3.        We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

1.7.      Payments

1.7.1.        Payment is accepted via credit card (Visa or Mastercard) and direct transfer (please note that cash deposit is also accepted but any fees incurred are to be furnished by the customer). Online credit card transactions will be acquired for DIYElectronics via PayFast (Pty) Ltd. PayFast have robust Security & Fraud Prevention by way of Extended Validation SSL with 2048-bit encryption, 3D secure and no credit card details are stored on the website. Customer details will be stored by DIYElectronics separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayFast's secure site. DIYElectronics takes all reasonable steps to scrutinise all transactions to prevent attempted fraud and a transaction may be refused if we are not satisfied with its legitimacy.

1.8.      Accuracy of Billing and Account Information

1.8.1.        We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.

1.8.2.        You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

1.9.      User Comments, Feedback and other submissions

1.9.1.        If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions (for example contest entries) or without a request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, 'comments'), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any comments; or (3) to respond to any comments.

1.9.2.        We may, but have no obligation to, monitor, edit or remove content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libellous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property or these Terms of Service.

1.9.3.        You agree that your comments will not violate any right of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your comments will not contain libelous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false e-mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as to the origin of any comments. You are solely responsible for any comments you make and their accuracy. We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any comments posted by you or any third party.

1.10.  Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions

1.10.1.    Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

1.10.2.    We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in the Service or on any related website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied in the Service or on any related website should be taken to indicate that all information in the Service or on any related website has been modified or updated.

1.11.  Prohibited Uses

1.13.1.    DIYElectronics makes no warranties, representations, statements or guarantees (whether express, implied in law or residual) regarding the website.

1.14.  Disclaimer of Liability

1.14.1.    DIY Electronics our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers and service providers shall not be responsible for and disclaims all liability for any loss, liability, damage (whether direct, indirect or consequential), personal injury or expense of any nature whatsoever which may be suffered by you or any third party (including your company), as a result of or which may be attributable, directly or indirectly, to your access and use of the website, any information contained on the website, your or your company’s personal information or material and information transmitted over our system. In particular, neither the website owner nor any third party or data or content provider shall be liable in any way to you or to any other person, firm or corporation whatsoever for any loss, liability, damage (whether direct or consequential), personal injury or expense of any nature whatsoever arising from any delays, inaccuracies, errors in, or omission of any share price information or the transmission thereof, or for any actions taken in reliance thereon or occasioned thereby or by reason of non-performance or interruption, or termination thereof.

1.15.   Conflict of Terms

1.15.1.    If there is a conflict or contradiction between the provisions of these website terms and conditions and any other relevant terms and conditions, policies or notices, the other relevant terms and conditions, policies or notices which relate specifically to a particular section or module of the website shall prevail in respect of your use of the relevant section or module of the website.

1.16.  Severability

1.16.1.    Any provision of any relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices, which is or becomes unenforceable in any jurisdiction, whether due to being void, invalidity, illegality, unlawfulness or for any reason whatever, shall, in such jurisdiction only and only to the extent that it is so unenforceable, be treated as void and the remaining provisions of any relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices shall remain in full force and effect.

1.17.  Applicable Laws (choice of venue and forum)

1.17.1.    Use of this website shall in all respects be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. regardless of the laws that might be applicable under the principles of conflicts of law. The parties agree that the South African courts of law shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all controversies arising under this agreement and agree that venue is proper in those courts.

1.18.  Changes of Terms of Service

1.18.1.    You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.

 

2.       Privacy Policy

2.1.      What do we do with your information?

2.1.1.        When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

2.1.2.        When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

2.1.3.        Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

2.2.      CONSENT

2.2.1.        How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

2.2.2.        How do I withdraw my consent?

2.4.2.        However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

2.4.3.        In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

2.4.4.        Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

2.4.5.        Links:
When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

2.5.      SECURITY

2.5.1.        To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

2.5.2.        If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

2.6.      COOKIES

2.6.1.        Our website uses cookies. By using our website and agreeing to this policy, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with the terms of this policy.

2.7.      AGE OF CONSENT

2.7.1.        By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

2.8.      CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

2.8.1.        We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

2.8.2.        If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.

 

 

3.       Returns and Refunds Policy

3.1.      General Conditions for Returns

3.1.1.        DIYElectronics shall accept returned products or refund customers, within South Africa, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 and its Returns and Refunds Policy set out below.

3.1.2.        Please note that all returns must be logged by email, with or support team ([email protected]) and will undergo our entire Returns Procedure to ensure an efficient returns experience.

3.1.3.        No products are to be returned to us without a prior return authorization, any such returns may be rejected and returned to you at your cost.

3.1.4.        Products may only be returned by the original purchaser / customer.

3.1.5.        All returns must be repackaged safely and securely, including all original product packaging, accessories, manuals etc. 

3.1.6.        Proof of purchase must be submitted on request for the return to be processed.

3.1.7.        Returns will only be accepted in brand new unused condition, in original packaging and without the seal/packaging being broken.

3.1.8.        If you return a product and the packaging or product has been unnecessarily damaged or defaced, the return may be rejected. This includes placing labels, tape or writing on the packaging/product.

3.1.9.        All software products, electronic/gift vouchers or other digital goods are unfortunately not eligible for return or refund. 

3.1.10.    DIYElectronics reserves the right to inspect and assess returned products.

3.2.      Unwanted or Incorrect Products

3.2.1.        You can return an unwanted or incorrect product to us for a refund, credit, replacement, or exchange, provided:

a)       The product is undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached;

b)      It is in the original product packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition with all seals still intact.

c)       It is not missing any accessories, manuals or parts;

d)      You log the return request within 7 days of delivery or collection of the unwanted product.

e)      You have the return ready for collection within a maximum of 10 days of the original delivery/collection.

3.2.2.        Failure to meet any of these requirements may result in your return being refused.

3.2.3.        Incorrectly supplied products are deemed to be accepted by the customer after 7 days from delivery and can then no longer be returned as incorrectly supplied.

3.3.      Defective Products

3.3.1.        We do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are as described, of good quality, in working order and without defects.

3.3.2.        A product which is damaged or faulty or unsuitability for its intended purpose (or otherwise generally intended), or not reasonably durable based on the intended purpose and product type is a defective product (hereinafter referred to as being “defective”)

3.3.3.        Products may not be returned as defective, unless the product supplied is either incorrect, unsafe, or found to be damaged or faulty upon delivery. A defective product generally means that the goods were manufactured using materials, components or workmanship below an acceptable standard. You must prove, within reasonable grounds, that goods are defective.

3.3.4.        The following causes of defective products will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return and will void the warranty of the product.

                       a)     Faults/damage because of normal wear and tear.

                       b)     Faults/damage caused by negligence, user abuse, misuse, or incorrect usage of the product.

                       c)     Faults/damage caused by electrical surges or fluctuations.

                       d)     Corrosion such as exposure to sea air or other environmental factors.

                       e)     Faults/damage caused by liquids or water.

                       f)      Faults/damage caused by failure to adequately care for the product.

                      g)      Faults/damage caused by unauthorized alterations or modifications to the product.

                      h)      Any repairs, modifications or alterations of the product by a third party.

                       i)      Where the specifications of a product, although accurately described and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you.

                       j)      Unnecessary damage through handling, unboxing and/or repackaging.

                      k)      Defects caused by infestation of insects / pests or by a superior force (vis major)

3.3.5.        Should any of the conditions in section 3.3.4 be met we reserve the right to reject the return and charge an assessment fee or alternatively we will charge for repairing the product and returning it to you.

3.4.      Collection and Return Shipping Costs

3.4.1.        For defective or incorrectly supplied products, we will cover the costs of collection and return shipping for the first 7 days from the date of purchase.

3.4.2.        For unwanted goods, the customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs.

3.4.3.        If the customer is unable to return the product to the original delivery address due to relocation or other circumstances, any additional shipping costs to collect the product from a new location will be the responsibility of the customer.

3.4.4.        Please note that all returned products must be properly packaged and protected for shipping. Any damage caused during shipping due to inadequate packaging may result in additional charges or the rejection of the return.

3.4.5.        These conditions apply only to products delivered within South Africa. For all international customers, the return and collection costs, as well as any customs or other related costs, are for the customer’s account.

3.5.      Returns after the 7-day period.

3.5.1.        DIYElectronics will consider the return of unwanted, incorrectly ordered or otherwise unused and unopened products on a case-by-case basis. All such returned products, if accepted, will be subject to shipping charges and a restocking fee and/or an assessment fee at DIYElectronics discretion.

3.6.      Assessment Times/Periods for Return of Defective Products

3.6.1.        We aim to assess the returned product as soon as possible to ensure prompt resolution. However, due to the complexity of some products, it may take longer to complete the assessment.

3.6.2.        For all returned products, we aim to complete the assessment within 14 business days from the date of receipt of the product at our facility.

3.6.3.        In cases where the product requires further investigation or testing, the assessment period may be extended by an additional 14 business days. In such cases, we will notify you of the extended assessment period and provide regular updates on the progress of the assessment.

3.6.4.        We will make every effort to ensure that the assessment is completed within a reasonable time frame and will keep you informed of the progress.

 

3.7.      Special Offers and Bundles

3.7.1.        If a product is sold during a sale, special offer or other special activity and should the product be returned for a refund or exchange, the value of such will be only the original purchase price of the product and not its normal price.

3.7.2.        Bundles are generally groups of products, offered at a discounted price compared to the sum of the individual products prices. If a product is purchased as part of a bundle, then the product cannot be returned for a refund, credit, or exchange. Only the complete bundle may be returned for a refund and all normal return conditions apply.

3.7.3.        Should any of the items in a bundle be used in any way, for example consumable products opened, then a bundle may no longer be returned for a refund.

3.7.4.        If a product was purchased at a discounted price through a special offer or bundle or other special activity and is no longer available at the discounted price then; should the product be found to be defective and returned for repair or replacement, you accept that we may only be able to repair and not replace same.

3.8.      Restocking and Assessment Fees

3.8.1.        In certain cases where a product is returned for a refund or exchange, a restocking fee may apply. This fee will be determined by the condition of the product and may be up to 20% of the purchase price.

3.8.2.        In cases where a product is returned for assessment but no defect is found, an assessment fee may apply. This fee will be determined by the complexity of the assessment and may be up to 10% of the purchase price or R150 ex VAT, whichever is greater.

3.8.3.        Any restocking or assessment fees charged will be clearly communicated to the customer before any action is taken.

3.9.      Refunds and Credits

3.9.1.        If a return is approved and you request a refund, the refund will be available as store credit from the date of the return approval.

3.9.2.        Should the customer request a payout of this credit, such payout will be processed within 30 days and can only be paid into the original customers bank account and not a third party.

3.9.3.        DIYElectronics will not be responsible for the consequences of any errors or omissions by customers when providing their bank details for refund payments.

3.9.4.        Refunds on returned products, for any reason, are not allowed if the product is returned after 6 months from the date of purchase.

3.10.  Unclaimed Products

3.10.1.    If you have submitted a product for repair or assessment, and we have notified you that the product is ready for collection, you must collect the product within 30 days of the notification. If the product is not collected within this timeframe, we reserve the right to charge you a storage fee, which will be calculated on a daily basis.

3.10.2.    The storage fee will be calculated as a percentage of the original purchase price of the product, with a minimum fee of R3 per day. The percentage will be determined by the length of time that the product remains uncollected, as follows:

a)       30 to 60 days: 1%

b)      60 to 90 days: 2%

c)       90 days or more: 3%

3.10.3.    If the product remains uncollected for 90 days or more, we reserve the right to dispose of the product in any way we see fit, without any liability to you.

3.10.4.    We will make every effort to contact you to remind you to collect your product before storage fees are charged. However, we cannot be held responsible for any failure to contact you or for any loss or damage caused to the product during the storage period.

4.       Warranty Policy

4.1.      Goods Warranty

4.1.1.        DIYElectronics offers a 1-year limited warranty on all our products (unless otherwise noted), from the date of purchase. Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and excluding any use outside of the products’ intended use.

4.1.2.        All products are new in condition and of good quality unless otherwise noted. For example, products may be described as used, reconditioned, as having specific defects or any other special notation. The customer is responsible for checking the description of the product before purchasing.

4.1.3.        Should you find a product to be defective, it must be returned to us in line with our Returns and Refunds Policy in Section 3. Failure to do so may result in the return being rejected.

4.2.      Warranty Conditions

4.2.1.        For any warranty claim to be accepted, we reserve the right for the product in question to be assessed and evaluated physically by DIYElectronics, or by one of our appointed partners at our discretion.

4.2.2.        All warranty claims are handled exclusively by email and require a full description and pictures/videos of the fault to be provided to the support team before a return of the product for warranty purposes can be processed. 

4.2.3.        If a warranty sticker on an item is damaged, missing or otherwise tampered with, the warranty will be void. 

4.2.4.        Any condition mentioned in section 3.3.3 will void the warranty.

4.2.5.        Should a manufacturer of a product provide a warranty beyond the DIYElectronics warranty, we will make our best effort to support this, however this does not extend to any shipping, labor or any other costs incurred. Such costs will be passed on to the customer.  

4.2.6.        For defective products, we will cover the costs of collection and return shipping for the first 6 months from the date of purchase. After 6 months, any return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

4.2.7.        Should a product be found not defective, the customer will be responsible for the collection and return shipping costs, as well as any other applicable costs in the policy.

4.3.      Sensitive Devices and Electronics

4.3.1.        We reserve the right to refuse returns of any products that have been modified, tampered with, damaged, or have missing components, particularly in the case of sensitive electronics such as circuit boards, microcontrollers, sensors, electronic modules, and other similar components. Any such products that have been opened or modified in any way by the customer will be considered non-returnable and will not be eligible for a refund, exchange or otherwise.

4.3.2.        Such electronic modules and sensitive devices that have been opened/used will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by our support team and can only be returned if deemed manufacturing defect/fault.

4.3.3.        We understand that some sensitive electronic products, such as development boards or SBCs, can be easily damaged due to mishandling, improper connection, static electricity, and other factors. Therefore, any sensitive electronic products returned to us as defective will be carefully inspected by our support team to ensure that they are indeed defective and have not been damaged due to customer error.

4.3.4.        If our support team determines that the product has been damaged due to customer error or misuse, we reserve the right to refuse the return and not issue a refund or exchange. Examples of customer error or misuse include but are not limited to: incorrect connection, improper handling, exposure to moisture, exposure to static electricity, and damage caused by other devices connected to the product.

4.4.      Warranty Repairs and Refunds

4.4.1.        Provided our assessment finds the product to be defective and the warranty valid, you may elect to have the product A) Repaired or replaced by DIYElectronics or B) Refund the original purchase price of the product (If the product was returned within 6 months of the original purchase date).

4.4.2.        Should a refund be selected, all conditions outlined in 3.Returns and Refunds Policy apply.

4.4.3.        If the product is returned 6 months after the original purchase date, a refund is no longer an option.

4.4.4.        Should the product be found NOT to be defective, you will not be allowed a refund, replacement, or repair and furthermore you will be responsible for the collection and return charges (if applicable) as well as an assessment fee.

 

 

5.       Returns Procedure

5.1.1.        DIYElectronics has a hassle-free returns policy that allows you to return any product purchased from us within 7 days of delivery. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a refund, or credit or exchange/replace it for another product of the same value. 

5.1.2.        To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team via email at [email protected] with your order number/reference and reason for return, as well as pictures/video. Once approved, we will provide you with a return authorization number and instructions on how to proceed with your return. 

5.1.3.        All returns must be in their original packaging and in new, unused condition. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these criteria. You must have the return ready for collection within a maximum of 10 days of delivery. 

5.1.4.        Please note that DIYElectronics does not cover the cost of return shipping, except in the case of a faulty or incorrectly supplied product. You will be responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the product. We will provide you with a shipping quote, which you must accept to return the product. Once we receive your return, we will process it within 5-7 business days. 

5.1.5.        Products returned without a return authorization, or returned to us without approval may be rejected and returned to you. 

5.2.      Return of incorrect/damaged products and missing items: 

5.2.1.        Should you find your order has incorrect, short supplied or missing items, this must be reported to the DIYElectronics support team by email, within 3 days of collection/delivery for the dispute to be dealt with. Please examine all packaging for damage/tampering etc. before opening your order. Take pictures and submit these along with your claim report.  

5.2.2.        If you find a product is damaged on receipt, do not open or use the product. Immediately report your findings to the DIYElectronics support team, along with picture/video evidence.  

 

6.       Sales and Order Processing

6.1.      Special Offer Sales Terms and Conditions

6.1.1.        From time to time, DIYElectronics may offer special promotions and discounts on certain products. These promotions are subject to the following terms and conditions:

6.1.2.        All special offer sales are subject to availability. DIYElectronics reserves the right to withdraw or amend a special offer at any time without prior notice.

6.1.3.        Special offer prices are only valid during the period specified in the promotion and are subject to change without prior notice.

6.1.4.        Special offer prices are only applicable to the specific product(s) listed in the promotion and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.

6.1.5.        DIYElectronics reserves the right to limit the quantity of products purchased under a special offer.

6.1.6.        Special offer prices do not include taxes, shipping, handling or any other applicable charges, unless otherwise specified.

6.1.7.        DIYElectronics reserves the right to cancel any special offer sales due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to technical errors or website malfunctions.

6.1.8.        DIYElectronics reserves the right to refuse any order placed during a special offer sale at our discretion.

6.1.9.        Returns and refunds for products purchased during a special offer sale are subject to the terms outlined in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

6.1.13.    DIYElectronics also reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders that are placed by its own staff members or their immediate family members.

6.1.14.    DIYElectronics is not responsible for any typographical errors or omissions in any special offers or promotions.

6.1.15.    All products purchased during special offers and promotions are subject to the same warranty policy and sales terms and conditions as any other product sold by DIYElectronics, unless otherwise noted.

6.1.16.    DIYElectronics reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders that are suspected of being fraudulent or in violation of any of the terms and conditions of the special offer or promotion.

6.1.17.    Items added to your cart are not reserved and your purchase is only secure after it has been processed and invoiced.

6.1.18.    Items pictured in promotional material may not all be on offer.

 

 

 

6.2.      Order Cancellation Policy:

6.2.1.        We understand that errors can occur during the ordering process, and we encourage customers to carefully review their order details, including product selection, quantity, and shipping address, prior to submitting their order.

6.2.2.        Once an order is confirmed, it is immediately processed and prepared for shipping. Due to the high volume of orders we receive daily, we have a streamlined processing system in place that maximizes efficiency. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that orders may be cancelled or modified once they have been confirmed.

6.2.3.        If you need to cancel your order, please contact our support team as soon as possible. We will make every effort to cancel your order if it has not yet begun processing in our warehouse. However, we cannot guarantee that cancellations will be possible. If your order has already entered the processing stage, it cannot be cancelled.

7.       Shipping

7.1.      Local Shipping Policies and Procedures

7.1.1.        Orders will be shipped within the day of receipt of payment and not later than 2 days and are subject to availability.

7.1.2.        Delivery time may vary depending on which area items are being delivered to, but typical delivery times are between 2 and 4 working days.

7.1.3.        We will do our best to deliver your items as timeously as possible but shall not be held liable for any losses or damages of any kind incurred due to late delivery.

7.1.4.        We reserve the right to charge our customers per the pricing structure mentioned in our delivery terms as well as change the pricing structure as we please without warning or consent.

7.1.5.        Once your package has been sent you will receive an e-mail confirming detail including tracking and delivery information.

7.2.      International Shipping Policies and Procedures

7.2.1.        Please note that shipping fees for any international orders are subject to quotation. Contact us for relevant rates and shipping periods.
