“LED’s Are Love! LED’s Are Life!” This is what the large sign says, which hangs above our Head Electronic Engineer’s desk, succinctly explaining precisely how we feel about these beautiful little components.  In fact, we love LEDs so much that we’ve dedicated a whole category to them, with strips, individual units and even entire LED displays!

 Okay, we may be getting a little too excited here, so let’s dial it back a little and talk about some of the cool ways in which LED’s can “brighten up your life” (wink, wink). In addition to many of the more standard uses of LED’s, like lighting up an area or catching the attention of onlookers, LED’s can also be utilised to create ambience for rooms or outside areas, discrete lighting for inside cupboards or small containers, and so many more uses that we simply don’t have the space to list here.
