Modular Extrusions

If you love DIY, but find woodworking or metal-welding too time consuming, then Modular Extrusions are the answer you’ve been looking for. Designed to be like LEGO for grown-ups, these rigid, durable extrusions feature specialised Fastening Components as well as Connecting Elements that allow you to build amazing structures with absolute ease!

 This category consists primarily of Aluminium Profiles that are commonly known as T-Slot and V-Slot extrusions, extruded from aluminium for high strength and rigidity. These are made in such a way that they have four channels running along the edges, and these channels can be used to mount T-Slot Nuts and V-Slot Nuts. This unique design then allows the nuts to slide into the channel and be twisted and fastened wherever necessary, allowing you to mount equipment, connect other extrusions, or install it into existing framework both quickly and easily.

As you may have noticed, a lot of Hobbyist 3D Printers utilise T-Slot extrusions for their designs, and this is a great example of just how awesome these extrusions can be – since a 3D Printer needs to maintain a high level of rigidity and structural strength in order to offer reliable and repeatable results.
