Siraya Tech resins are known for fantastic, detailed models and a specialised range of interesting castable resins such as Siraya Tech Build, Fast, Blu, Easy and Sculpt. Makers who love creating their own molds with these resins know there are sometimes a few hurdles to overcome with post-processing your resin prints to make molding possible. The Siraya Tech has developed the Defiant 25 Platinum Silicone for you to mix and create your custom silicone molds using 3D resin prints.
Siraya Tech Defiant 25 stands out with its easy use when working with 3D printing UV resin. Usually, you will need a coating to prevent the UV resin from poisoning your silicone mold. Defiant 25 boasts extra resistance to this curing inhibition and no need for coating. It is recommended to prepare your 3D resin models by post-processing them by curing them submerged in water for 30 minutes in a curing station. Remember to dry your prints thoroughly. Siraya Tech Defiant 25 is known to work best with their Build, Fast, Blu, Easy and Sculpt resins.
This 1 litre Siraya Tech Defiant 25 Platinum Silicone includes two bottles, that when mixed together in 1:1 portions will solidify into silicone rubber. Poring this silicone mixture around your castable 3D resin prints will result in a detailed silicone mold you can use to create items shaped exactly like your 3D print! In 4 to 6 hours, you can carefully remove your print and admire your new silicone mold. These silicone molds are pliable and make it easier to remove your casted creations. Silicone is also food safe and heat resistant, making it perfect for applications in the kitchen, like creating chocolate molded treats. Defiant 25 has the strength of platinum silicone, meaning it offers a balance of hardness and flexibility, with great tear strength and heat resistance.
