This Kit of Assorted Black Heatshrink Tubes is a great investment for any electronics enthusiast, as these tubes are an easy way to insulate Connector and Wiring to keep them, as well as the circuit, safe. Made from a non-conductive plastic, these tubes fit around cables and wires, and then shrink dramatically to fit snugly around the cables when heat is applied. This heat can be applied from almost any source – from a soldering iron to an open flame – and shrinks the tubing to roughly half of the original diameter with a 2:1 shrink ratio.
The Kit includes a total of 86 individual tubes of varying diameters, all of which are 100mm long. The different diameters ranging between 3mm and 18mm, which caters to a wide range of different cable sizes – as well as numerous cables being sleeved together if necessary.
