eSUN eSilk PLA Filament - 1.75mm Red

These spools are Red, although we also offer a range of other colours like Violet, Jacinth, Cyan, as well as standard White that can be painted with your own custom colours after printing. These Red spools, however, have been a great choice for printing fun office toys and decorations that make desk-spaces pop with a touch of bright colour. Additionally, we’ve printed a good number of shiny Red signs for the workshop and warehouse as well, as the colour and eye-catching sheen is really great for drawing attention, allowing us to warn employees of when to be a little extra careful around dangerous equipment, while still maintaining the enjoyable aesthetic that we like to keep within our working spaces.

In addition to amazing aesthetics and almost soft, smooth finish that eSilk offers, this unique filament is also somewhat self-lubricating as well, and we’ve had relatively high success in using eSUN eSilk for parts that need to slide or move with low friction. Just remember that the addition of the polyester-like material means that eSilk is slightly less durable than standard PLA Filaments, but it can certainly offer unique benefits for specific scenarios or purposes. Aside from that though, eSUN eSilk is primarily just designed for beautiful aesthetics while offering the same print quality and ease-of-use that you’re accustomed to with regular PLA.
