This makes it great for actual lighting purposes when compared to the softer glow of the Opaque LED counterparts, with the colour shining brighter out of the centre, and very little light shining from the sides. These are the same kinds of LEDs that are used in multicoloured novelty lamps, flashlight toys and other consumer items, but can certainly be used for more professional applications too, and are perfect to ensure that your project is eye-catching and ready to amaze.
