Heatsink Adhesive Backing Tape – 50x50mm

When it comes to electronics sensitive to heat, a special adhesive is needed for mounting your components. Heatsinks are great for drawing heat out of components and prevent damage, but that means heatsinks tend to get hot. As any parent who’s left a glue stick outside knows, hot glue melts to messy useless goo under high temperatures. That’s why heatsinks need a special adhesive backing to keep them mounted onto your PC board and protecting your precious projects.

These Heatsink Adhesive Backing Tape strips are 50x50mm and coated with Bond-Ply 100 on both sides. Bond-Ply 100 is thermally conductive, allowing heat to pass through without letting your heatsink budge. Double-sided and pressure sensitive, this adhesive tape is designed to attain high bond strength to electronics. Long term exposure to moderate heat and high humidity won’t melt or destabilise this adhesive at all. Other than of course mounting your heatsinks in please, this Adhesive Backing Tape can be used in screw mounting or clip mounting too!
