With a good range of different colours and 3D Resin formulas on the market nowadays, it’s easy to see that DLP/SLA Printing is becoming quite popular, with major brands like Monocure, eSUN and others all stepping up on their ranges and enhancing their offerings with flexible, super tough and even crystal clear resins for various applications. However, if you really want to enjoy a true mastery over your DLP/SLA Printing, you need to learn how to mix and blend your own custom colours and formulas, but of course this can be extremely tricky when mixing 3D Resins and Resin Pigments without the right tools. That’s why we’re keen to offer this Digital Pocket Scale that will fit snuggly on your workspace and measure resins, pigments, or anything else you need precise weights for such as small electronic components for your more delicate projects. Get the perfect blend for whatever you’re planning to print next.

This Digital Pocket scale is a gram scale which measures out precise 3D Resin and Pigment volumes and weights, and this is vital if you want to not only get the right colour, but actually learn how to recreate those specific colours later on. Don’t rely on loose estimations like “One Drop per Cup of Resin.” You can identify precise “recipes” for the colours and blends you want. Furthermore, it’s important to realise that these scales aren’t just for adding pigments to 3D Resins. You can also choose to blend various formulas together to create a unique formula that caters to the specific needs of each print you do. As such, if you want a print that can maintain a good shape but still flex slightly when exposed to external forces, such as for wheels for little robots, you might want to mix some Monocure TUFF Resin in with the Monocure Flexible Resin. Alternatively, if you want a cost-effective print that can still withstand the force of a drop to ground, you could choose to mix some TUFF Resin in with some standard Monocure Model Resin.

These of course are just a few examples of what you can achieve when you start blending your own custom formulas. Regardless of which blends you enjoy best, having a digital scale at your side will help you get the most precise and repeatable results for whatever blends you’re making and can aid you in any number of calculations, including for Electronics Tinkering as well.

Please Note: This weighing scale uses two AAA Batteries as a power source, but does not include them due to shipping constraints. As such, we recommend taking a look through our AAA Batteries Range.
