Resin Printers are the joy of many Makers who adore the intensely high quality of resin printing. DLP and SLA printers like the Creality LD series and Halot Series have exploded in recent popularity. DLP 3D Printing uses UV light to solidify the resin one layer at a time and create sharp high-resolution models. But along with discovering the fascinating feat of 3D printing with light itself, these resin bloomers are also introduced to the unfortunate messy side of UV resin. The sticky liquid sits inside the printer’s vat which uses a clear bottom sheet called FEP to allow the light to pass through and print your models. But when this FEP sheet is damaged or scratched, it forms an uneven surface and results in print fails. That’s why taking care of your FEP sheet is so important, and we recommend replacing it altogether every 30 or so prints. This 5-pack of 195x135mm sized FEP Film from Monocure 3D is an easy, cost-effective replacement with a few decent features for Makers to enjoy.

Monocure 3D is a supplier of fantastic 3D resins and printing accessories to make your life easier. Their FEP film sheets are designed with dual layer protection of 100 microns. Fluorinated ethylene propylene or FEP is similar in composition to PTFE and PFA and shares the low friction and non-reactive characteristics. UV light passes through the FEP film through the printer’s LCD screen for your printer to produce high resolution models. Your FEP safely allows your 3D printer to do what it does best, create detailed models using the power of light. FEP film plays a crucial role in the functioning of your resin 3D printer, which is why replacing worn-out FEP is key to get those high-quality prints.

Please Note: This FEP Film sheet is sized 195x135mm. When installing an FEP sheet, Makers often trim any excess film away. Please measure the vat on your 3D resin printer to ensure this sheet is the correct size or larger. If you require a different size, take a look at our range of FEP Film.

Monocure 100 Microns FEP Film 5-Pack – 195x135mm

Within the world of SLA and DLP Printing, there are few brands who can truly stand out from the crowd with quality 3D Resins, and amongst these brands, the choice of colours, polymers and other unique characteristics are extremely limited. That was true, at least until we found Monocure, who are arguably the most impressive 3D Resin brand in the world.

Formed by chemists with a real passion for liquid polymers and UV-sensitive “plastics”, these resins have been designed, refined and perfected over the past few years to provide hobbyists and desktop fabricators with top quality resins that are not only effective, but also diverse in the ranges of different colours, types of polymers, and intended use cases.
