Resin Vat for the Anycubic Photon

DLP Printers like the Anycubic Photon are incredibly fun to play around with, and are often considered to be a step up in quality and difficulty from the classic FDM printers. However, even these machines are not immune to damage, and this is why we are constantly growing our range of Anycubic Original Spares with parts like this Resin Vat for the Anycubic Photon. These are stocked as quick and easy replacement parts in case you manage to damage your resin vat by mistake, and they are built to the exact same specifications as the originals to ensure a relatively hassle-free replacement process.

Designed to perfectly fit the Anycubic Photon DLP Printer with a perfect flush seating atop the LCD Mask, this replacement part is made from anodised aluminium and is coloured in the classis Anycubic Blue that we’ve all grown to love. The replacement process involves simply removing the previous resin VAT from the Anycubic Photon, fitting a fresh new piece of FEP Film onto your new replacement part, and then simply mounting the new resin vat, filling it up with the 3D Resin of your choice, and then setting your printer to do what it does best.

Please Note: This item does not include FEP Film or mounting components, so consider getting some Spare FEP Films if necessary, and make sure you keep the fastening components that came with your machine so you can mount the vat correctly. Of course, as you may suspect, you can use any FEP Film that is larger than the external dimensions stipulated in the table below.

Unfortunately, because hobbyist DLP printing is still relatively young and in constant development, many of the printers like the Wanhao Duplicator 7 Plus and Anycubic Photon are built to unique specifications, with no particular standard that all manufacturers agree upon. This has resulted in parts that don’t always match on different machines, and as such we can’t confidently recommend this resin vat for any printers other than the one that they have been designed for.

On the up-side, however, because this part is very specialised, you can rest assured that it will be perfectly compatible with your Anycubic Photon, ensuring that you can simply switch them out as you please without having to trim it down or accommodate it in any unexpected way. Additionally, we’ve noticed that some of our clever customers have also been acquiring spare resin vats in order to add convenience to their 3D Printing experience, and they use each of their resin vats for a different colour that they often utilise. This way, users can switch colours without having to clean the vat, and then continue printing while the previous resin is being filtered and drained back into its container. Other more adventurous Makers have even used spare resin vats for switching colours halfway through prints, although this is very difficult to achieve and we personally haven’t been so brave (or patient) to try this yet.
