3D printing at high speeds is so satisfying on our favourite printers, but that feat needs special components to be possible. Nozzles are so important for the smooth flow of your filament. Creality hotends on the Ender 3 V3 KEK1, and K1 Max are carefully balanced with the perfect nozzle. These original Creality High-Speed Nozzles are longer than normal to guide the filament seaminglessly. This Creality Nozzle Kit contains four nozzles made of copper allow with hardened steel tips.

This pack of four Creality Bi-Metal Nozzles includes two 0.4mm, one 0.6mm, and one 0.8mm nozzles to elevate your 3D printing with even more high flow. The bimetallic material of these nozzles provide a delecate balance with a long copper alloy stem and a hardened steel tip. This blend of metals means the nozzle is heated more evenly through the copper section, while the hardened steel tip is ready to withstand any abrasive filaments passing through. With these Bi-Metal Nozzles, you can print up to 450°C.

This nozzle set is designed to the MK8 Standard, with M6 threading to fit the Creality Ender 3 V3 KE, CR-10 SE, K1, and K1 Max printers. This ensures that even if you entirely burn out or totally jam your nozzle, you can simply get a quick replacement nozzle and get straight back to 3D printing with as little downtime as possible. And with this replacement Creality Bi-Metal Nozzle Kit, you switchyou’re your nozzle sizes depending on your next print project.

Quick Guide to Changing Your Creality High-Speed MK8 Nozzle:

When swapping out 3D printer nozzles from other components, we recommend utilising the hot tightening technique for optimal thermal coupling. To do this, simply follow these easy steps, while being careful not to burn yourself of course.

  • Unscrew the heatbreak from the heatsink by about half a turn, to be sure you are not tightening against the heatbreak in later stages.
  • Heat up your hotend to 285°C, but do not overshoot as you risk damaging your thermistor.
  • Remove the existing nozzle from the heater block and insert the new nozzle.
  • While firmly gripping the heater block, slowly tighten the nozzle. Be careful, however, that you not apply any torque through the heatbreak, as they are fragile and relatively easy to break when loose.
  • Turn off the heating unit and allow the hot side to cool.
  • Finally, once the nozzle is installed and cooled down, tighten the heatbreak back into the heatsink and ensure that there are no loose parts.

The reason for this method is because aluminium heater blocks have a different coefficient of thermal expansion than the materials used in the nozzles and heat breaks. As such, tightening these components while cold results in a small gap being created between the nozzle and the break inside the block when the hot end is at temperature, which can lead to clogs, blobbing and other frustrating problems.

Creality Bi-Metal Nozzle Kit – K1/K1 Max/Ender 3 V3 KE/CR-10 SE

Although Creality 3D have been working within the industry since 2014, their addition of the Creality CR-10 series is what really catapulted them to the front line of competition, as it offered substantially better quality compared to other 3D printers – while simultaneously reducing the cost and complexities of the machines.

The quality of Creality’s 3D Printers and accessories shows through in their market history, with the brand selling around 3000 printers in their first year on the market, followed by about 10,000 sales over the next year. Now, Creality easily sells around 30,000 or more 3D printers each year, with sales continuously rising as they bring out more models. These are impressive numbers when considering the fact that they entered the industry as unknown competitors, quickly rising through the ranks and now even competing with Wanhao and similar top brands.

If you are looking for excellent 3D Printers that offer affordability without compromising on quality, Creality 3D is certainly a brand that you should take note of. From the basic Creality Ender 2 all the way up to the large build volume Creality CR-10 S5, there are few other brands who are capable of offering such a refined package while still maintaining some of the most enticing prices in the industry.
