Creality’s new breed of printers have changed the face of their Ender series and now the CR-10 series is next. Following the release of the new Ender 3 V3 models focused on automation and speedy printing, Creality has doubled down with their newest CR-10 SE 3D Printer! This bed slinger reaches an incredible 600mm/s, for high-speed printing with smooth linear rails. Outstanding automated features mirror the upgrades we’ve seen on the Ender 3 V3 KE and K1 series, including a change to Klipper software.
The Creality CR-10 SE proves bed-slingers are still in the race of providing high-speed printers to everyday Makers. The CR-10 series has always shown us bigger build plates for professional Makers with a lot to print. But now, their new CR-10 SE is the fastest bed-slinger in the range with 220x220x265mm build volume. With a brand new Klipper-inspired operating system, smooth linear rails, and automatic bed levelling, this speedy printer is perfect for both beginners and advanced Makers looking to crank up the speed on their printing projects! This printer has so many juicy features to explore. Let’s take a look together.
Oh, and did we mention? The CR-10 SE 3D printer has two spool holders, an added a strip of LED lighting, a draw, a 4.3 inch touchscreen, and a fast setup assembly. This printer is a Christmas tree of bells and whistles and we are so impressed. We simply couldn’t walk by the Creality CR-10 SE 3D Printer without a second glance.

The Creality CR-10 SE is a 3D printer may be the fastest bed-slinger printer to grace our shelves to date. We’ve loved the CR-10 range at DIYElectronics and this just takes it to a whole new level. It seems Creality is coming out with SE versions of their best ranges. The CR-10 SE has echoes of their new Ender 3 V3 SE and KE with a new focus on automation, faster printing, and user-friendly features. The greatest difference is a step away from Marlin and a step toward the legendary Klipper firmware. Creality OS runs on a quasi-Klipper basis as Creality has modified their own version that already steps up their printers greatly. We are excited to see where they take this decision next. But what that means for the CR-10 SE is that now you can monitor and control your prints from your phone or PC over WiFi. Finally, no MicroSD card is in sight. USB or remote transferring your print files is the future. They went for hands-free and meant it, even eliminating manual bed levelling. This is a pivotal moment in the 3D printing industry.
Speed your way into the 3D printinghobby with this CR-10 SE that has everything you need to hit the ground printing without much setup and a significantly easier operating system. A direct drive Sprite extruder lets you start experimenting with many 3D filament types right away, like PLA, PETG, ABS, flexible TPU, and advanced ASA or PLA-CF. Like its predecessors, this printer gives you the hands-off printing experience with not one, but two automatic bed-levelling sensors, the CR-Touch and a strain sensor. You won’t even need to set your “Z-offset”, an often-confusing setup step for new time Makers expecting to rely on the automatic sensor alone to determine your bed level. More upgrades to its hotend and a linear rail system takes the CR-10 SE print speeds to 600mm/s, a remarkable speed that lets you pump out project after project.
A whole army of convenient features riddles this printer. We are especially excited for the LED light bar. Some may think the dual filament holder seems rather useless, but with the Sprite’s colour swap feature, you will find it comes in handy for creating multicolour prints. The CR-10 SE is a perfect printer for professionals and beginner Makers alike.

Although Creality 3D have been working within the industry since 2014, their addition of the Creality CR-10 series is what really catapulted them to the front line of competition, as it offered substantially better quality compared to other 3D printers – while simultaneously reducing the cost and complexities of the machines.
The quality of Creality’s 3D Printers and accessories shows through in their market history, with the brand selling around 3000 printers in their first year on the market, followed by about 10,000 sales over the next year. Now, Creality easily sells around 30,000 or more 3D printers each year, with sales continuously rising as they bring out more models. These are impressive numbers when considering the fact that they entered the industry as unknown competitors, quickly rising through the ranks and now even competing with Wanhao and similar top brands.
If you are looking for excellent 3D Printers that offer affordability without compromising on quality, Creality 3D is certainly a brand that you should take note of. From the basic Creality Ender 2 all the way up to the large build volume Creality CR-10 S5, there are few other brands who are capable of offering such a refined package while still maintaining some of the most enticing prices in the industry.
