The detail quality of resin 3D printing amazes us every time, but we were not prepared to witness the wonders of 8K resolution! SLA or DLP Printers are known in the industry for reaching levels of detail that cannot be reached with FDM 3D Printers. The Creality Halot resin 3D printer range offer higher levels of detail, faster print speeds, and larger build volume with each new model. This Creality Halot-Mage truly preforms magic.
While we were giddy to get the many new versions of Halot-One 3D printer into our hands, the Creality Halot-Mage stood out with its leap in precision printing. The 8K mono LCD print screen results in incredible print details. Each one is a sight to behold. You will see the hair, fabric, skin textures, and other organic shapes come to life on your 3D models. Sitting with a larger 228x128x230mm build volume, the Halot-Mage is reinforced with dual z-axis rails and builds upon the best features that came before.
With all this in mind, it made sense as to why Creality moved away from adding this to the LD series and rather started a fresh and exciting new resin Halot Series. If you are interested in resin 3D printing be sure to have a look at the UW-01 and UW-02 clean and cure stations to make post-processing much easier.

It is clear Creality has broken away from the LD range with the release of the Halot series. The DIYElectronics team have been eager to really dive in and discover everything this new 3D printer range has to offer, and we are happy to say we are thoroughly impressed. In short, the Creality Halot-Mage 3D Resin Printer combines precision with the convenient innovation of the whole Halot series.
We immensely enjoyed the sturdy build volume at 228x128x230mm for some bigger projects. The large scale is accommodated by the dual z-axis guide rails. The Halot-Mage simplifies the resin printing process. Its flip protective cover is a game-changer, making it easy to access your prints without dealing with an obstructive lid. But above all, the 8K resolution throws the ball out of the park. Tiny details that you never noticed before come to life on this printer. Lifelike textures that photos can barely do justice.
If you’re eager to get started, this YouTube quickguide takes you through easy setup and your first print while giving a second opinion of the Creality Halot Mage:
No customer reviews for the moment.
Although Creality 3D have been working within the industry since 2014, their addition of the Creality CR-10 series is what really catapulted them to the front line of competition, as it offered substantially better quality compared to other 3D printers – while simultaneously reducing the cost and complexities of the machines.
The quality of Creality’s 3D Printers and accessories shows through in their market history, with the brand selling around 3000 printers in their first year on the market, followed by about 10,000 sales over the next year. Now, Creality easily sells around 30,000 or more 3D printers each year, with sales continuously rising as they bring out more models. These are impressive numbers when considering the fact that they entered the industry as unknown competitors, quickly rising through the ranks and now even competing with Wanhao and similar top brands.
If you are looking for excellent 3D Printers that offer affordability without compromising on quality, Creality 3D is certainly a brand that you should take note of. From the basic Creality Ender 2 all the way up to the large build volume Creality CR-10 S5, there are few other brands who are capable of offering such a refined package while still maintaining some of the most enticing prices in the industry.
