2.5L Isopropyl Alcohol 99% (IPA) – 3D Resin Cleaner

Washing and curing your 3D resin prints is a crucial step to create the most gorgeous, detailed models. Fresh 3D resin prints are dripping with uncured resin. If you don’t carefully wash away that excess resin, it might harden into artifacts or lumps, covering your awesome details. That just won’t do! The first step to effectively post-process your 3D resin prints is washing with an effective cleaning agent.

This 2.5L bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) thoroughly washes your 3D resin prints and is a great general-purpose cleaning agent in the case of unwanted spills. After 3D printing, your model is coated with sticky uncured resin. Washing in IPA for 2-3 minutes smooths your prints and enhances that clean polished look. We also recommend a few dunks into IPA baths to make sure all that excess resin slides right off. Just remember, don’t leave your prints in IPA too long. The chemical can eat away at cured resin too if left unattended.

Be careful to use your safety gloves to protect your fingers from drying inside the icy IPA and always use IPA in a well-ventilated area. A ventilated mask is also recommended to protect from tombs. Please Note: Isopropyl Alcohol 99% is a cost-effective cleaning agent for many Makers post-processing 3D resin prints. However, it has rather strong fumes and may be an irritant to your skin.
