SunLu Ultrasonic Cleaner – 2.7L Resin Print Washer

The process is called ultrasonic cleaning and with the SunLuUltrasonic Cleaner, you now have an alternative way to clean your resin prints.

Ultrasonic cleaning works through high-frequency sound waves that are transmitted through the liquid to clean the surface of immersed parts. The sound waves, which are 46kHz, agitate the chosen solution resulting in cavitation molecules. The agitation produces high forces on anything adhering to the surface of your print no matter where the contaminate is located. Ultrasonic cleaning is not exclusively for resin prints but is commonly used for cleaning a variety of items such as jewellery, tools, coins, and industrial machine parts.

The SunLu Ultrasonic Cleaner offers smart features for the best experience while getting your resin prints as clean as possible. It is not recommended to use alcohol IPA in ultrasonic cleaners as the vibration can heat up the liquid and become a fire hazard. A photosensitive resin detergent does the trick. Prints are suspended in the cleaning tank to ensure the entire print is cleaned. Note: it is not recommended to put IPA directly into the ultrasonic cleaner tank. It is recommended to place the IPA along with your print into a jar or ziplock bag, place it into the ultrasonic cleaner basket and then full up the tank with water.

Typical Applications for the SunLu Ultrasonic Cleaner:

The SunLu Ultrasonic Cleaner is designed to clean excess resin and other contaminates from resin prints. This means that you get the best result possible during curing. That being said, it can be used to clean other objects provided that the correct solution and settings for the object is used. It is not recommended to put IPA directly into the ultrasonic cleaner tank.
