Resin Printers are the joy of many Makers who adore the intensely high quality of resin printing. DLP and SLA printers like the Creality LD series and Halot One have exploded in recent popularity. DLP 3D Printing uses UV light to solidify the resin one layer at a time and create sharp high-resolution models. But along with discovering the fascinating feat of 3D printing with light itself, these resin bloomers are also introduced to the unfortunate messy side of UV resin. One hassle is the need to replace the FEP Film.  Designed to be fitted and tightened between the LCD panel and the build plate, these sheets form a clean, smooth and flat print surface that UV light can travel through to solidify the resin. Because the resin sits directly on top of this film, your print may stick to it as the resin solidifies, causing a banging as the build plate pulls the print away and may even cause failures. That’s why Lankeda’s nFEP Film is not just a replacement but is also a great upgrade for your printer, offering ultra-high ultraviolet light transmittance and reduced chance of sticking.

These 140x200mm nFEP film sheets are the literal opposite of FEP film, in that they are made of non-fluorinated ethylene propylene (nFEP) or otherwise known as perfluoroalkoxy (PFA). Just looking at a sheet each of FEP and NFEP, you won’t tell the differences between them. However, many 3D Makers can testify to the positive results that nFEP Film brought to DLP Printing. nFEP Film has a higher tensile strength, less prone to flexing during prints, and signifantly more resistance to resin getting stuck to the film. Compared to regular FEP film, Lankeda’s nFEP Film has a higher-quality surface which better transmits ultraviolet light and results in fewer Layer Lines. nFEP film plays a crucial role in the functioning of your resin 3D printer, which is why replacing worn-out nFEP is key to get those high-quality prints.

Please Note: This nFEP Film sheet is sized 140x200mm. When installing an nFEP sheet, Makers often trim any excess film away. Please measure the vat on your 3D resin printer to ensure this sheet is the correct size or larger. If you require a different size, take a look at our range of nFEP Film.
